Auction page not working

When trying to create an auction, the calendar is not visible. when i maually put in a date, it doesnt work.

this is what is said at the top of my page

"Warning: checkdate() expects parameter 1 to be long, string given in /home/horseede/public_html/hostauction.php on line 207"

and

"Warning: checkdate() expects parameter 1 to be long, string given in /home/horseede/public_html/hostauction.php on line 218"
