We knew from the e moment we transferred our first son that it was a boy. This second one however we were convinced was a girl! Had dreams and everything. Nope, double confirmed boy. Waiting for the anatomy scan to triple confirm lol

Me too. And it was always painless in my dreams. It ended up being that way when I had a csection because his birth itself caused zero pain in the moment

I found out at 19 weeks with my first and we did a surprise gender with my second

I actually knew quite early on, around 12 weeks, but it wasn't a definite because he was still small on the scan. But there was a definite peener there too

We found out at 20 weeks too. There he was plain as day 3 legs splayed out... lol

Our gender reveal party was a quick text to a family group chat that he had a peener at my 20 week scan

Me too, Issy 🥰 that's the most important for us. I've had a lot of anxiety this pregnancy though so praying it continues to go smoothly

Interesting. Each to their own. I'm happy you have 2 healthy babies <3

But to be fair I also dont think I'll ever have kids as I dont feel being a mom is my calling

I'm not sure I could handle a family of all boys or all girls and if I had the option easily like you do because of IVF I would definitely be doing testing
Guinness Hollow
02:28:51 Dimmed | RID
Yeah, we are both on the fence with how we feel about it which is why we didn't do it for this one.

My realtor did IVF only for gender selection. She is perfectly fertile but they had two boys and wanted one more baby and wanted a girl

I'm 18 weeks with my second boy (untested, we didn't choose gender or test the embryos. Told the embryologist to pick the best embryo both times and both were boys)

However if I was going to go through 10 weeks of Progesterone shots in my butt again I'd only be doing it to finish our family with a healthy girl. Only if we felt that's what was right for us

I understand for medical reasons...other reasons seems odd but I guess..

When you do genetic testing on embryos you can choose gender of the baby. Some people do it for medical reasons, and some for family planning (already having multiple of one gender and wanting to finish their family with the other gender)

Wow ..ensure a daughter? That seems strange

Straws for both studs will be distributed on the 1st! Please, only purchase if you are going to be using them to help test their production, not to make cheap embryos, etc. Thank you!
