I loved to write. I loved the research for my scientific essays. That was the point, I was burning with curiosity. As for art we had two artists across the road from us, John Jackson and Roland Piche. And a fabulous art teacher Mr Ward, who would shout "fill that page or I will make you paint on postage stamps". A3 pages from 6 Yr old to 11 Yr old. And wall length murals by all of us for the Tate primary school competion. I still paint. AI is a dirty backwater stealing the heart of what defines humans. As for acting, I fully support their strike. Younglings have a look at 'I Claudius' series, that's acting. |

I agree. Taking so much heart and genuine passion, to just replace it with a godamn computer. As an artist myself, this is more than dissapointing. |

Don't get me started on AI art. I see it all the time on my facebook feed. Hell I saw one that was an AI reprint of the famous filly Ruffian. People were thinking it was the real horse until I pointed out the flaws of the picture, and posted the real picture. You could easily see how the leg was disjointed, the bridle was half missing, and half in the wrong place covering half of her face. |

Yep. It's shit. It's cheating, i work my arse off to get good grades, these kids just get Chat GPT to do theirs and get the same or better grades.

I'm so glad I'm not alone, I feel it, especially in school with essays, people get good grades because the work becomes so perfect, so those who don't do it like that get down graded because we don't cheat, its turning into a reward the cheaters punnish the non-cheaters, and then I try to stay stuff and I get verbally bashed and attacked for trying to make point of not using AI for everything

SAME! And it's so much worse when they start the year using it is the teachers get so fucking used to the style and go oh yeah that's their writing, and the apps to detect it are sucky as shit |
