I think Im going to try to spreadsheet my results again. Should be a bit less complicated this time as I'm only using +15s and +20s, although itll still probably take ages

Willow - thank you! I just wrote like 100 words trying to explain my question but I ended up confusing myself with it.

Min - that makes sense! So basically there will be a tiny bit less SubSubSub horses and a tiny bit more WWW horses?

All ratings are boosted (*slightly*!), which in turn gives you a (*slightly*!) better chance at a higher rated catch

The increased ratings mean you have a slightly higher chance of capturing a good rated horse such as a WWW
Im not quite sure what you mean on the second question
And for the third, I know I definitely hoard capture passes, I think I have over 40 free capture passes at this moment, and over 20 +15 and +20 all traits each

Opal,

Makes sense! I'm not too sure if I want to focus on all or just one. It's been so long since I've played that I'm out of the swing of things a bit lol. But thank you for taking a look! I truly appreciate it <3

Brooke I popped over to peek at your stock, if you are serious about breeding up all discipline it would help alot to train your prospects all discipline only so you can match

This coming week will be the first capture week since I started playing and I was wondering how does it increase the ratings of caught horses? Is it that all ratings are boosted or that more highly rated horses are generated? And have you been hoarding capture passes?

I'm torn on what to do haha. I guess I'll geld some of them, considering I've got ones that are rated higher and some of which will be able to breed next year in game. But I also do need good show horses loll

EEE stallions can be nice for quests if they are homozygous for certain genes, have specific pattern combinations or are apricot. Otherwise they probably aren't very useful
Tamarack Mountain
09:26:58 Opal
well he could easily make E combos, best for showing SD

I've got a few geldings, but most of the ones I've got have pretty crappy ratings lol

Is it best to geld E/E/E colts? Wasn't sure if it was worth keeping them as a stallion. I've got x3 E/W/E young stallions & a colt. What do y'all think?

I haven't bred a good foal for a full year and I use top broods/studs with svens. Just RF hating on us and hopefully turns around at some point.. nothing else we can do :(

In my experience, I tend to find that even when some of them do land ABLB, or even just LB, they still aren't worth spending time on.
This girl, makes an excellent example lol.
.
The key really seems to be girls who both land high and produce well. The pickier you are, the better. But climbing there is very much a task and a half. It'll never be instant.

To parrot what a lot of others have said, the key is often finding the right mares. The sales market right now for mares is not super hot-people are holding onto their mares so if you're trying to get good mares through sales you won't have much luck. However, with the intro of embryos a lot of people are much more willing to brood out top mares they might not have before. It seems daunting, but it never hurts to reach out to stables and ask if they would sell an embryo for one of their LB mares (unless they explicitly state they won't on their page). A lot of the time I don't have time/energy to advertise some of my top mares so I kind of just rely on people reaching out to me but I rarely say no if I can see my mare will be prioritized and I know a lot of stables with top LB girls are the same.

It took me more than three RL years to breed a WWW, and I think months longer than that. Also my first WWW SUCKS. I've been playing the game for 13 years so I can remember when a PPP was a big deal.

I've been playing the game for almost 5 years, and I just bred my first WWW in June, then my second in July, and my 3rd in September. I have two WWW mares and they are TERRIBLE producers. Mares are your best bet, stallions are practically useless unless you have one high on the leaderboards, but you can get a WWW from a good mare and some luck or you can brood them out to get money. There are also some mares thsat are just trash producers. One of my mares is #1 WBLB x #8 WBLB and she was svened, yet she threw an EEE with#2 wblb and a medallion, and then threw a PEE with a sven. Your best bet is to buy an embryo from as high on the LB as you can afford, with as good an item as you can afford, this will boost your chances of getting a WWW.
