Recently, it has felt like one thing after another after another. Like the bad news just won't stop.

Earlier in chat I mentioned that my dog had a seizure, and that I had rushed him to the vet. I was scared. I'm blessed to have friends to have helped calm me.
.

Unfortunately I lost him. He had a tumour the size of his abdomen, we couldn't tell if it was from his spleen or liver. His bloodwork five months ago showed no signs of cancer or tumours, meaning that this was highly aggressive. The seizures were the tumours reaching his brain... I couldn't let him have another seizure, knowing it could rupture his spleen, or worse...

Tonight, the rainbow bridge welcomes the most amazing dog I've ever known. The sweetest boy, the most intelligent and brave dog I ever could've asked for. Rest in peace, my precious Merlin.

I'm so sorry for this. It's always hard to loose a beloved family memeber/pet. He will always be with you in your heart, memories, and in spirit.

I am so sorry to hear this Versa. I know you have had a lot going on and losing a pet is the last thing anyone wants to have happen. I am sure he lived a wonderful life with you and I hope you know he is at peace. I will be thinking of you these next couple days. ❤️

I'm so sorry, Vers. It's never easy, especially when it's sudden. But it sounds like he didn't suffer, and he had a life so full of love. Sending so many hugs your way ♡

Thank you all for being so compassionate and being here for me so I don't feel so alone. He really did live a life full of loves, treats, new tricks, and so many loves and cuddles from family. I gave him my all, so much time and money dedicated to his comfort, toys, medications, and beds. He adored his collars very dearly, and I am building a display box to keep them in. He'd start wagging and wiggling and licking my hands every time I offered a new collar- he'd put his head through the loop and bring me a toy. He had several for just about every holiday. We'd change them so often.

Oh Versa, the loss of a belved pet isn't a pain I would ever wish on anyone!

I am so sorry for your loss, he looked adorable and very happy. At least you guys were able to share your lives together. He passed as a clearly, very well loved and valued dog, something you were able to offer him, that many dogs never get the oportunity of <3

Sorry for you loss. Losing pets is really the most difficult thing ever. We never have enough time with them.
