I see so many people getting WWW's. What am I doing wrong? I buy the best straws I can afford. Are my mares that bad? My best AQH mare died last month, but my luck seemed to go down hill before that. What are people doing that I'm not? This is so frustrating!!

I feel you! I've been in a WWW drought on this account for AGES, and when I do get one, it's always a colt with fairly crappy training.

Sometimes it feels like just waiting for luck to strike. Bred a top XLB mare over on my X account, then haven't gotten any WWW fillies until just recently when she's about to retire lol

I feel your frustration. Same here on breeding for WWW. Even though Eve has already said it, my past experience in the game has been that having a strong mare herd is essential to meeting my breeding goals. I don't have a great mare herd right now so I'm working on building that up again. Half the fun is in the journey. :)

Eve and Center Line both already said it, but strong mares are very important. I feel they are almost more important than strong stallions(not always). I've bred quite a few WWWs on this account, some of my earlier WWWs had ok training and poor production, others made it on the ABLBs and were multi WWW producers themselves. What I've learned that has helped my WWWs become stronger, is learning how to be very picky when matching. For example, if my mare is low in hrt, obviously I'm going to look for a stud who is strong in hrt(this is basic matching). Now what I look for is that the stud never doesn't go up in hrt, if he goes up Wk3, Wk4, or Wk7, but not Wk11 or other Wks, I will either not use him or add a hrt glass. I also will not keep anything that goes 3/6 up wk4 and 8. Now that's just my opinion, other people may disagree and do well with those mares. I just don't like them and don't have good experince with breeding them. Another thing that has greatly helped me is outsourcing broods. About a year ago, I used a WWW X mare Charmed Acres owned named Khia. This mare had been top 30 eventing XLB and jumping I believe. I matched her using my way above, and bred her to Holy Roller. The match produced the best WWW mare I have ever bred. Blue Melody, went on to produce 6 WWWs for me and other players(along with many WWs). She had also placed on the ABLB, SH eventing LB, and SH jumping LB. In my opinion, if you become very picky with your matches, use items when needed, and outsource LB or well producing mares, you should have success. Now RF is definitely still a huge factor in breeding WWWs and not breeding them, but following the steps above gives you a better chance at breeding a non RF WWW. Good luck!

I've been looking for strong mares and/or stallions to buy, but there really are none for sale. And at this point buying one is kind of out of my price range. I lost my job and am looking for another one, so the budget for games is kind of low right now. I miss my Ariel so much!!

Mustang I feel your pain. My mares are okay producers usually PPP+, but as long as I've been playing it's just random luck for me. I've only started breeding high level EEE horses, so I know it's going to take a bit to get to WWW horses, but half the fun is breeding to see what I get. I'm happy with anything PPP+ I get since I breed more for color now.
