In case you don't know who I am, the name is Ronin. I'm a genderfluid who leans towards masculine pronouns, not really sure what to call that. I'm a teen in the US, and I'm absolutely pissed at the government right now.
For those of you who don't know what's just happened, Roe vs Wade has been overturned. This has now made it legal for states to ban abortions.
By banning abortions, they are taking away the rights of not only women, but anyone with the capacity to get pregnant. As people, we should be able to have the right to do what we wish with our bodies. Slowly but surely, the US is stripping us citizens of our right to live.
In the past few years several states have started denying healthcare to trans patients, and their families. Several have made laws that particularly attack trans women and girls in sports. The Supreme Court did nothing. They let this happen. And now, they're taking away the right to an abortion. What's next? Our right to own property? Our right for same-sex marriage? This is not only an attack on women, it's an attack on the LGBTQ+ community, and I won't stand for a country that's doing this.
I originally planned on joining the Navy to fight for this country as a pilot right out of high school. I wanted to protect out freedom, and have fun while doing so. I love planes. I've always wanted to fly. But now I'm never joining the military. I won't get a job run by the government. Not until there's change-- good change. Not until we as people are able to live our lives without the government oppressing those who are different.

Hi Ronin, I deeply sympathize with you on this topic. For context: I've spent over half my life being abused, neglected, and assaulted. I raised my biological siblings with only my older sister's help. In 2016, all of us children were removed from that household and split up into groups(there's a lot of us). My older sister and I were the only children old enough to testify in court, and so we spent three years fighting for our right to live without the fear. We won our court case in 2019, and all of us children have been trying to recover since then. As someone who has had to have the "abortion or adoption" talk, I know the pain of having to think about it in the first place. As a college student, I have many friends (and family members) who are not the basic, upperclass, white, cis-male that this country favors. I have seen my friends and family members get harassed about their choices regarding their identity and their life goals. I am afraid. But I will not shut up and let guns have more rights than me. I want to let every victom and survivor know that it is okay to be scared. It is okay to be you. And I will gladly stand with you against those who say we are not important. |

I want to know where the pro-birthers get off thinking that having roe v wade overturning is helping the country. Because now, anyone with a uterus can't get an abortion. Oh, you are pregnant by force? birth the child. You can't afford a child? birth the child. You're 12 years old? Birth the child. "just put it up for adoption, Theres plenty of people who will want it." really, so thats why the vast majority are abused, homeless at 18, miserable and have no one who love them. Yep perfect idea guys, well done deffinately thought that one out. They are not stopping abortions, they are purely just promoting unsafe methods of aborting, which by the way has a chance of killing the mother too. Or at the very least, damaging the uterus to the point of never being able to carry a fetus. What are they gonna do next, ban same sex marriages? who would be supprised at this point. 😒 I don't even live anywhere near america, and my country runs in a completely different system, I'm still utterly enraged by what is happening in the US right now. |

Actually, they are trying to push for unprotecting the right for same-sex marriage. It fucking sucks. I have literally no faith for this country. |

it confuses me still that to this day there are still people like "Save america, we love america, go joe biden, yay!!" when your country is forcing people to give birth. Like think about it. forcing people, women and not women, to push a whole ass child out of their vagina and then devote most of their life to caring for this thing, spending so much money and time and effort on something they didnt want to happen. I couldn't agree more. It's so plain ridiculous. And the fact that people have the nerve to use "the covid vaccine doesnt work" as an excuse to prove their points on the matter? Like that is SO not the same. Actually, my parents have a very differing opinion on the matter. They think the overturning is a good thing, and they think it's "killing babies" to have an abortion. They rejoiced when it was announced. EDIT: SA, sorry. |

Have you asked your parents what their plan for you is if you either get pregnant or get accused of getting someone else pregnant(not assuming your gender)? |

yep they are pushing getting rid of contraceptives and same sex marriage + relationships im sure interracial relationships will be next people with uteruses will become broodmares and im sure crime and s3xual assaults will go up |

LGBTQ+ and Interracial marriages are already being targeted. AND if a person with a uterus gets pregnant from being assaulted and tries to abort, every person of the family of the r@ pest gets to sue the person $100,000 each, for aborting. |
