My dad has an eye problem, he sleeps with his contacts in and now his left eye is all red and he can't see a thing out of it. Not to mention that now he was bitten by a tick and we believe he has Lyme disease. He won't get tested for it but we (My family) are pushing him to at least get his eye checked out. Maybe tomorrow he says all the time. Any advice? |

He shouldn't sleep with his contacts in. That can actually lead to a lot of infections or blindness. He needs his eyes checked. |

I can appreciate your worry, but ultimately he is an adult and can take care of himself. You can advise him to see a doctor, but have respect his decision if he chooses not to go. |

I've also heard that doing so can cause them to fuse to your eyes o.o |
