I am fucking sick and tired of AI "art" being shoved down my throat. I swear every youtube video I watch there's an ad for it. Even scrolling on tiktok I get the damn ads. Go on DA seeing too much AI in my feed, look for stock more AI. I really just can't stand it, I have shown no interest in gen AI why am I getting all these ads. Scrolling on DA I'm like "oh wow this art is so amazing!" Look at the text down at the bottom it's fucking AI. It's starting to show flaws less and less and I really do not like it. When looking for stock on adobe I see images that look so good and real but they aren't. AI steals images from real artists to make new ones with no soul at all. These people calling themselves artists because they came up with an idea and threw it in a generator. Real art can take hours, days, weeks, and even months this shit is created in minutes. Even DA has a built in generator it is infesting everything. Oh and not to mention Adobe has now changed their policies in support of this. Adobe now has the rights to anything you create on their platforms. They are doing this in order to train gen AI. So when it comes to using any of their software you no longer own THE ART THAT YOU CREATED. How messed up is that??! Now artists are using their platforms to make "nightshade" art I guess it's art with things that will corrupt AI images made with them. So like go them corrupt it all!! But yeah thanks for coming to my rant. As an artist myself I am 1000% against this... and it really grinds my gears.

Oh god I hate the AI push in general, technology should be doing my dishes and laundry so I can focus on art and music. It shouldn't make art and music so I can do laundry and dishes. And then people call themselves "artists" because they can type a few words. There's no skill, work, or feeling in that. It takes that art out of art.

As someone who paid their own way through five years of college for a graphic design BFA, and who makes money on the side through digital art, don't even get me started.

I'm not quite in the same boat as you artists, as AI with writing is getting worse rather than better, but I am getting siccckkkk of proofreading AI generated books. They're insultingly bad and such a slap in the face to writers that spend years on their stories.

I'm so glad I'm not alone, I feel it, especially in school with essays, people get good grades because the work becomes so perfect, so those who don't do it like that get down graded because we don't cheat, its turning into a reward the cheaters punnish the non-cheaters, and then I try to stay stuff and I get verbally bashed and attacked for trying to make point of not using AI for everything

What?? Kids are using AI for essays? Like they are even hard to do... I used to love writing when I was in school.

And to think AI is slowly taking over jobs from people who have actual talent. A grand total of five minutes earning more money than that person who took potentially weeks? Disgusting.

I know it's so frustrating especially since AI is getting better and better!
