ok sooo... My older sister moved out about a year ago. We knew she was going to have problems. However about 2 weeks ago we went to clean her apartment because she wasn't doing it. It was a nightmare. She had junk all over the place spoiled food and dirty dishes everywhere and don't get me started on the smell. It was bad. My mom told her that she would have to either pay us or do farm chores because we cleaned it up. She didn't pay. So now she has to do farm chores or give us the keys because it's technically my mom's apartment. We went up yesterday after our ortho appointment.we went up to clean and tell her but she wasn't there. We have a key to get it. But when my mom tried it it didn't work. So we went to her work to get the keys. She refused. She told us that the lease was now in her name. My mom contacted the manager and found out she lied.

well last night we went over. My mom and my sister pay the rent my mom writes a check and my sister has to pay her back. So last night we went to get the keys. My sister came out and asked for another chance. The thing is we've given her many chances so the answer was no. She immediatly started to throw a fit. My mom asked for the keys. At first she said no. But then my mom threatened to call the cops. That worked. We also told her she can't go back to the apartment because she trashed it. She started to complain that she would be homeless. She is staying with us until she finds something but I don't know how long it's going to take. Oh the other thing she said was that she was going to get a restraining order on us.what now?

She's a toxic person. Let her cut her losses an learn on her own. The next apartment she trashes will get her kicked out by the landloard and she'll have no one to blame but herself. If she gets a restraining order while living with you point out she's screwing herself over and loosing a place to stay while she gets her act together.

okay so today we had a meeting with the manager . She was mad because my mom reported the fact that we got locked out. We also wanted to know what it would take to put my sister on the lease. It took an hour maybe more to get those two things worked out. Now my sister is going to get renter's assitance and one of her co-workers is going to live with her. They will stay at that place till june then move to a new apartment maybe. Or the other plan is stay for a year and then move. so we will see.

It's only going to be a matter of time before the co-worker bails. I wish you and your family luck in dealing with your sister.

Ok sooo her co-worker is having family issues. Her parents are getting divorced and it's nasty. So we are back at square one. Also she is not even applying for apartments right now. My mom told her she has to she just doesn't do it.

So she moved out into a place with three nice ladies. That lasted three weeks or so. Then she had a guy she never met and didn't even know his last name over. The ladies decided she had to go. That was saturday. We went over sunday told her she could stay with us till she found something. Went over monday to get her she wasn't there didn't hear from her till today. Still have no clue where she went.

Soo we reported her missing they found her of course they can't tell us where she is because she is 18. Well we told her she has to pick up her stuff by 5 pm on thursday so.
