Wild. I'm not sure I've ever seen nor heard of anyone advocating for coyotes here. They've crossbred with domestic dogs and those packs get larger and larger. Livestock is a big problem here too, you aren't required to have tags or for them to be "in season" here.

We had a couple dens of them on a TB farm I worked for, but they didn't mess with the babies or mommas so we just let them be.

They are pests, and they kill a lot of livestock and true native animals.
But there is also huge support from those who classify them as natives.

They were brought here by humans. They did not evolve here naturally and have contributed to extinction of our native predators. But yeah, they are classified by the Gov as pests(wild Dogs).

I can only think of 2 venomous snakes near me that are native, which are our biggest concern. We have bobcats and the like but super uncommon, at least in my area, to see any.

I would not handle a venomous snake/animal, not for all the money on earth

They can, in places where there is not much food or if they are crossed with domestic dogs and are more aggressive.
I actually really dislike them and believe they do not belong here at all.

I kind of think my father in law might be in psychosis.
On one hand it just looks like he's finding his spirituality and is enthusiastic about it. He has definitely changed drastically since about a year ago. Which seems like it may be a redflag in of itself. But again, up until recently it seemed like it was generally helping him and a good influence, as Spirituality and religion can do.
Im not sure how to feel about his recent actions. And I'm not sure if it's even my place to try and pry. He's been following and listening and getting REALLY into videos pertaining to any kind of spiritual affect. Some of them are familiar to me like Chakras and reiki, but others are like promoting him to not eat or drink, and basically it just feels like he's getting really close to crossing a line of healthy endeavor. Yesterday, he called me. He wanted to talk to me about something he felt inside him. He described them as aliens who cause cancer and illness. And that he feels them moving around. I uhm, I usually don't know what to say so I just listened and tried my best to be supportive of his wellbeing.
Today I went over to his house. He had an appointment with some kind of spiritual healer of something. It was over the phone. A $75 session and my father in law told me the person was going to " move ions" which is something I have no knowledge or experience so I was like cool. After the session he told me that during the session he started shaking and sweating and his heart rate went up. To me it sounded like my anxiety symptoms. Then everything was cool and we hung out. My husband woke up, and his brother came over. When his brother got there I guess he started feeling these symptoms again. He got kinda a strange look in his eye. I tried asking if it could be an anxiety attack but he said no, theres no doubt its inside me. My hubby and the bro left to cash a check and things kinda escalated. He was saying he feels the aliens again moving around, and that its attacking him. He got on the floor and started yelling "get out of me". Then he told me that my daughter and I and everyone should leave. So I left.
I dunno. I don't want to deny his experience, and you know, like sometimes people can tell when there is an illness or injury within their body, and I don't want to deny him that either, in whatever way it manifests. But I don't want to be ignorant to what I've learned about certain psychoactive events. Maybe some of you remember, but at the beginning of the year, I posted in thus forum about an event with him, he like took a gun to the airport and threatened to kill his father, and he like just actually kinda broke. After that event he started to seem a lot better, like a whole new person. And now he's taking all this stuff very seriously, whole heartedly. This past week he's seemed tense. I guess it's just degree of things, it seems on the more extreme side. With his family history too. I dunno. He doesn't like therapy which is okay, but he also thinks my syndrome is in my head, so I wonder if he'd even want to try to seek any kind of mental health help. If it comes to that

So my first impression after reading this is that it sounds a lot like psychosis. While I am not opposed to alternative medicine or religion, if he thinks aliens are crawling around inside him something more serious is going on that is unrelated to either of those. I'm not sure how you can help him since he needs to be the one willing to get help, but my biggest concern would be him accidently hurting himself or someone else, especially if his symptoms are as bad as you describe.

After taking some time to think about, I think I've made a plan. I'm gonna leave things be. I'm going to research how others have helped family members going through similar and their experience. And if it escalates anymore, I'm going to inform his daughter, my sister in law. I feel like having a close family member advocating for him would be a good move, but is it against my business to inform anyone? I guess the better question is do I want to deal with the personal emotional repercussions of not informing someone.
It's just so hard to tell if he's just describing his feelings very vividly. I have to keep in mind everything that I've learned though. Drastic changes in habit, mood, personality, and belief within a relatively short period of time. Sleep disturbances, sometimes his thoughts seem disorganized but he speaks coherently. He describes outer body experiences, dimensional travel, having psychic abilities like seeing the future, "activations", and other things that i kind of had a hard time following. When he has dreams, he sees them as visions or premonitions . And he describes these things as if it was on a physical realm of reality. And he is very set on it. Other opinions are shut down and don't seem to provoke thought or debate.
This abrupt turn of belief started maybe around May or so.
I've seen some crazy stuff in my life, mostly as a young child, so denying the experience outside of possible health issues seems wrong (though i too have a mental health background). I also want him to be able to enjoy this and heal and stuff. I think that's why I'm pushing the concern away.
I feel better talking about it. His son isn't really in a spot to really help, and his daughter be out of state. So there's a strong chance that if things take a turn, it may be up to me to at least start action.

Talk to your family now. See if they have had similar experiences or concerns, and come up with a plan. He needs to see a doctor- whether physical or mental, I don't know, but it's not fair for him to deal with this sort of stress, and there might be something wrong that's fixable. It's better to plan now.
My own dad has some issues that me and my siblings have discussed and planned for, with full awareness of what our family is genetically predisposed to, such as alzheimers, etc. Opening this conversation with your sister in law can save you and the rest of the family a lot of grief.
I'm sorry you're going through this. It is really hard to watch someone you care about rabbithole like this.

Your father in law needs to see a doctor ASAP. From what you're describing it's pyschosis that is going on, but his doctor would be the best one to deterime that and the treatment.
