I'm female. I deal with female problems. . I have a LONG history of severe symptoms causing me to have to call out of work since I'm doubled over in pain and/or extremely nauseous with a migraine alongside the other inconveniences. . Anyways. My doctor messed up and was awful to me (a different story, yes I'm swapping doctors) so my medications that were mitigating these problems from occurring to begin with weren't renewed since I am single. . Yep. You heard me. My doctor didn't renew my prescription because I'm single. . Anyhow. I've been in and out of the ER this past week with a migraine and a cyst, got a doctor's note to call out of work, figured this would be the end of my problems since everything was sorted and my new doctor is willing to renew that prescription for me. . NOPE. My manager is now threatening to fire me because I "have three absent points" and APPARENTLY my uterus squishing into a ball and self-destructing, giving me ER-worthy symptoms, even with a doctor's note, is a situation where she needs to tell me, word-for-word, "PLAN BETTER." . ... My two weeks notice has been filed, needless to day. I haven't been absent or late EVER prior to now. |

I started to hate this place back when we were told we cannot and should not take Wednesdays off, and were told to stop requesting Christmas Eve off because it'd be declined. She took them off EVERY single time. This was definitely the final nail in the coffin. .

Oh you should've heard the time she got pissy because I drove my sister to her doctor's appointment rather than take extra hours one morning. I told her kindly I couldn't because I had other plans and she was MAD mad. LOL .

I'm sorry to hear this and I'm glad you're getting out of that situation <3 I have PCOS and struggle with fertility because of it. I had a new OBGYN who said I needed to just lose weight and I'd get pregnant 😡 Like it's difficult for me to lose weight and I'm not gaining anything but maintaining. Needles to say I'm looking for a new doctor |
