A big portion of the licensing exam I have to take is about x-ray physics because in theory we are supposed to use it reduce patient radiation exposure. In real life, it is hardly applied though.
If your doctors aren't listening to you, then you may have to go to another one who will listen to you. That's what I had to do when my doctor didn't believe me I was having issues breathing due having walking pnumonia. He thought it was allergies since I have breathing issues when I'm having an allergy attack. A second opinion is always a good thing to get.
