We were quick to cancel everything on our walmart account and delete the entire thing.. but there comes the starbucks (which the bank confirmed that's how they got into everything else. That's where they started.), and boy was that hell. Luckily, we got in beore they changed evreything, called the support line, and they sent everything to the original email. They're now going through a process to "protect" the account further.

We filed a fraudulent report with police, and they're looking into it. We acted fast between both my mother and I.. I handled starbucks, she handled the officer and the bank all after we both handled walmart.

As she got through to the bank.. He ordered beats through target, and a $125 visa gift card once he realized he was caught and out smarted.

Bank handled that, cancelled every transaction he made (starbucks, walmart, and target), and completely cancelled all the cards.

He is now fighting for our apple IDs, but we caught him in that as well, and changed EVERYTHING.

We withdrew all our money from the accounts as we were told to do, and we are waiting to see what happens next.

Walmart account had to be terminated, so did Target.. Starbucks and my 500 stars were saved, LOL.

It's just a laughing matter now since almost every (if not every) school district in the D/FW area in Texas has been cyber attacked recently. My brother is currently going to school. We think that's where it's from honestly.

And.. Grandma getting beats and air pods? LOL.

Just needed to talk about it honestly, it was quite an interesting morning.

UPDATE

He got ahold of my Navy Federal card just as I thought he was done.

Jokes on him.. I am utterly broke, and never put anything on that one, lol.

No harm done, cancelled the card anyways. Nice effort though. 😅 Very determined, LOL.

I had a similar scam call today. Someone pretending to be the IRS saying I owed back taxes. I asked them what their fed ID number is, and which branch are they calling from. Now caller ID told me Washington State. He said Seattle Office and he doesn't have to give me his ID. I told him actually yes he does, that why I can verify he's who he says he is. He said he doesn't have to give me information, and if I don't give him my SSID, and account info he's sending a Sheriff to arrest me. I laughed and said go a head, they'll just laugh at you, and two because one you refused to give me you fed work ID number, I'm on the phone with the Washington State Department and FBI office right now, and this call is being traced. Also no IRS agent will call a civilian unless the civilian calls first and asks for a call back from said agent with said Fed ID number. Next time you call my number I'm going to give you another earful, and hung up laughing at the guy. With scam callers I will do stuff like that or turn on an adult video, turn the volume up, and lay the phone down by the TV and walk away. You won't believe how many people hang up quickly when I do that.

LOL, yes! It's awesome to do things like that. I don't get spam calls anymore very often is not at all. Sadly, this was just some hacker who obviously didn't work fast enough, nor do a good enough job. xD

They hang up quickly. I'll sometimes harass them back and try to get them to buy whatever they are trying to sell me

Well it comes in handy that a friend of mine was in the adult film industry for a bit, and gave me some of his videos, and another friend of his heard what I do to these spammers, and said I could use his and his wife's videos as well. Needless to say it's a riot when I do that in front of my friends and family, then they start doing the same thing to spammers to them.

And I agree with Lucky it sounds like you had a pain in the ass with the hacker. To bad you couldn't back track his IP, and send him malware, trojans (and I don't mean the condom brand), and other stuff to screw up and blow up his hard drive.
