The cool morning air slapped his face ace Levi stepped outside, the mornign sun barely peaking over the horizon. He kicked his boots on and wasted no time heading to the barn, flicking the lights on and grinning as he was greeting by a chorus of whinnies and nickers. He knew their affection was only prompted by the promise of breakfast but the warm morning welcome never got old.

He made his way down to Whimsy's stall, her head bobbing eagerly as he approached. He reached his hand out to scratch her neck and was greeted by a strong nose to the chest, he chuckled as he spoke to the impatient mare "I know, I know, good morning to you too madam!" He gave her a firm pat on the neck before casting an eye over the other horses, everyone looked to be in good health and spirits as usual so he began the usual feeding and paddocking routine.
