West flicked his tail, opening his eyes. He watched Dixie do some fancy movements, signing. West wished he

is legs would work again... it was just his front left leg. Always hurt. He shook his mane and walked Over to the stream, taking a giant drink

Tiger laughed and looked up at phantom, he was covered in sweat, "let's have a break" he said, his voice gentle

Phantom nodded her head "That sounds great" she walked over to a small lake getting a drink from it then stepping into the water to splash it on herself

Dixie eyed West. He seemed sad... more like depressed honestly. Dixie stopped and lifted her velvet nose to the sky. She snorted and tossed her head

West raised his dripping muzzle and shook his hea. He flicked his ears and resisted a sigh.

Mystery came back after a nice looong run and was puffed out so she went to the stream and took a long drink

Dixie walked around, swishing her tail back and forth. She elegantly high stepped through the grass

West glanced around to make sure everyone was okay before he started walking towards the beach again. Once he got there he broke into a trot, then went into a canter. After he got to the end of the long stretch of sand he turned around and lengthened into a gallop. West felt bolts of pain shooting through his leg... and he didn't know why. His best guess was his old injury never healed exactly right, and galloping after Moon like he did reawakened it.

Dixie watched West walk off. -he's gone again...- she dropped her head and nibbled at the grass. she heard a few cracks behind her then they drifted off. -Lazarus must be hunting or something- then she heard the distinct cry of a mountain lion... but it wasn't Lazarus...

West tipped his head as he heard the screams of a mountain lion. He shivered slightly, galloping even faster.
