Phantom struggled a bit pulling the log, she kept falling back on her bum or loosing momentum and getting stuck on the ground. She eventually got a good center of balance to be able to pull it. Not super fast but just still pull it back

West glanced over at Tiger and Phantom. He walked back to the herd quietly, glancing around before leaving. West cantered to the beach, then tried a gallop again, just going and going until he couldn't. Until his leg hurt so bad it buckled, or until he couldn't breath. SOMETHING needed to get better... he couldn't just stand around ALL DAY like an idiot. West did everything he normally did if he wasn't hurt to get stronger. He pushed logs and boulders, ran through deep sand, shouldered through deep water... until he physically couldn't anymore. Then West just stood there, quivering From exhaustion. He just wanted to get better... wanted to go back to normal, to have the capability of protecting his herd the way he should.

Dixie watched as everyone left them she turned to Lazarus. "Horses aren't food, as you already know. Stick with the deer... but not Ezra... or Esther... or little Naomi either" Dixie shook her head. Lazarus gave a loving purr as he leaned on her, making her fall over. She giggled as she tried to stand. She finally did and the two played around in the grass. Lazarus would crouch down low in the grass then pounce on her, no claws of course, and force her to the ground and rub against her. Dixie loved her mountain lion.

West finally regained the energy to stumble back to the herd. He immediately sank to the ground and rested, blowing out soft breaths of air. West knew he was pushing himself too hard.... but he needed to get better.

Dixie lifted her head to look at West. she could see that he was exausted, so she lovingly nudged Lazarus back into the woods. "be safe, little man... well, your not so little anymore..." Lazarus gave a soft purr as he nuzzled her then turned and ran into the woods, climbing a large tree that could sustain his weight and watching her with his yellow eyes

West closed his eyes, just resting for the moment. He wasn't asleep, but he wasn't exactly awake either. His leg ached and he felt tired...

|
Dixie trotted around, occasionally hearing the soft crack of a branch or crunch of a leaf as Lazarus manuvered himself through the trees

|
Tiger snorted and pulled a log

|
Phantom finally pulled the log all the way to the tree line. She let go of it dramatically collapsing on the floor "I don't know what's more hard, going up the mountian or pulling it.." She huffed trying to get her breath before standing up and shaking some sweat off

Dixie left the tree line and trotted, occasionally throwing a tail flick of two. she tossed her head, her mane flying gracefully. she side passed, her legs crossing over gracefully, so graceful that it seemed like she was floating. her mane and tail seemed to float as it bounced softly against her neck
