Duchess finally finished eating and saw Lizzy coming over with a saddle. "Oh, so were doing that today" she rolled her eyes as Lizzy groomed her and tossed on her saddle. Duchess loved jumping, but she still wasn't used to having a human up there. She liked Lizzy but everytime she rode, Duchess had to see how hard it would be to ditch her. Sorra saw duchess walking out to the arena and goofily got ready for a show. the second they were out there duchess was wiggling from the mounting block as Lizzy scooted in circles until she finally mounted. "Lizzy, dang duchess, can i have a little mercy?" Lizzy pleaded. They got warmed up and Duchess was feeling fresh. Lizzy asked her for the canter and Duchess broke off into a damn near gallop. "Let's have some fun" Duchess said as she dead stopped and began bucking. Lizzy managed to stay on by some miracle and after successfully making a lap with no bucks, she popped up a tiny crossrail and trotted Duchess in "NoPe" duchess thought as she swerved away last second, leaving Lizzy staring up at her from the ground as Duchess did a victory trot around the arena. "get your butt over here wild one" Lizzy cawed as Duchess reluctanly returned to the mounting block the reins practically aching as Lizzy lead her over. Eventually Lizzy was able to get her over a jump and ended on a good note. Duchess calmly walked into the barn with a goofy smile and plopped her butt in her stall. "Is she serious Clay?" said Lizzy, "She's so sweet on the ground but she turns into the devil when I mount her, It's almost like she's toying with me!"

"Hard to tell.She could be but,who knows.Might just be A,) in heat or B.) just being a mare." Clay had finished tacking up Sorra in her saddleseat gear. "Ok,you gonna let me trim your tail real quick without kicking me?" Sorra snorted. "Really hope thats a yes." Clay quickly trimmed her tail before hopping on and riding saddleseat for a while.

Lizzy shrugged and side eyed duchess before going over and reluctantly squishing her outstretched nose, Duchess liked that, Lizzy had no clue why but she did it anyway. "Duchess, duchess, what am I going to do with you?" She walked on and threw her halter on to turn her out "alright go on...do whatever ya do out there" and the second she slipped that halter off Duchess galloped off bucking as she went "good freaking lord, why'd I have to get the crazy one", Lizzy smiled, shook her head and retreated to the barn

Clay worked on Sorra's hoof placement and on his seat.Sorra picked up a canter just as Clay sat up.Clay fell down with a -THUMP- before getting back up. "Sorry Sorra.That was my fault." He said as he stokd her muzzle.

Lizzy walked over after hearing clay thump "You good down there" she giggled, as duchess nibbled on her hair.

"Yeah,im alright." Clay hopped back on Sorra,molding his legs to the stirrups,heels down,elbows sharp,reins in hand,and asked for the canter again,this time,the saddlebred mare picked it up smoothly.

Phantom saw the horse jumping and cantered over. She piped the fence to get in and cantered around the arena. Chloe came and mounted phantom. They still rode completely tackless. They were jumping jumps easily and phantom wondered why duchess always bucked off her owner.

Duchess nuzzled Lizzy's face and neighed "you wanna try that again and not commit attempted murder?" She sarcastically cawed, she grabbed duchess back out to join Chloe and phantom. "Please good lord follow his example!"she begged as she stretched her leg up and swung on. She patted Duchess's neck and asked her for a little trot, by some miracle she actually behaved and hoped over like an angel "I swear you're so weird one second you hate me, the next it's great" she laughed. "Alright I'm sick and tired of trotting, were cantering" duchess said as she launched into her wildly fast canter. "HOLY--" Lizzy screamed, not expecting the launch, but she quickly settled in and lined up for the next jump. Duchess hopped right over before bucking as soon as they landed, forcing Lizzy to just ride it out before going again, "what is up with you?" She asked and duchess turned her head towards Lizzy, almost laughing "ah this is fun" duchess cooed as they took off again. "How do you manage to get the chill one!?" Lizzy asked Chloe as she attempted to bring duchess into a more collected canter. Duchess suddenly stopped and just looked at phantom " how come you never do this? " she said as Lizzy, somehow still on, wiggled off her neck and back in the saddle.

Clay brought Sorra down to her prancy trot and rode her to the arena. "Lizzie,Duchess is spicy.Ya'll think I can jump in this saddle?Eh,bet I can." Clay slid off before setting the jumps at 1.25m,as that was usually a practice height rather then a show height.Sorra bound into a canter before launching herself over the jump,legs tucked,neck arched,soaring in what felt like slow-motion. "Good girl" Clay patted her neck before continuing on some of the jumps. "Now,Lizzie,thats how its done.Duchess,take note.Alright I've got chores to do,later." Clay departed to the barn.

lizzy rolled her eyes " dang, wouldn't have pegged Sorra for a jumper!" as in a split second duchess snorted, leaned over and bit clay on the upper forearm before neighing and doing a lil grin. "DUCHESS" lizzy yelled, "don't bite Clay!"
