Stone gave a brief nod toward the leader, but in respect, he lowered his head.

Gem stayed right at Stones side, and when he lowered his head she dropoed hers even lower out of fright and respect

Isabella looked at Gem and smiled, walking around so she wasn't next to Stone anymore, but next to Gem "Hey no need to be frightened! He's nice, and he's a colt sooooo he's harmless!" She chuckled quietly

Gem shied away at first but eased slightly at her words. "What's- hats your name..?" She asked quietly

Stone looked back at the fillies, his head still low even though he had raised it a little

Isabella smiled kindly when Gem asked what her name was "Me? I'm Isabella! What's yours?" She asked

Gem lightened a tiny bit. "Im Gem.. and this is Stone" she looked at Stone.

"I was born a few a few minutes after her, so Mother made her name Gem and me Stone. We were always together so Mother would say GemStone to get us to come. She said it was a coincidence that she had named us like that" Stone spoke so freely about their mother as if it didn't hurt him.

Gem sighed sadly and ducked her head

Isabella smiled when Gem introduced her name "Gem... That's a beautiful name! And Stone? Oh that's clever!" She commented, her gaze going from Gem to Stone when she spoke, than back to Gem "You two... Didn't leave your mother by choice... Did you?" She asked cautiously, her ears flicking back

Stone shook his head "not technically but we left our ranch by choice." He nodded toward the pink halter on Gems head then the red one on his own. "We would much rather be free"

Isi shook her head harshly "Oh shoot sorry I didn't help you sooner!" She said embarrassed as she started at Gem's halter, using her growing teeth to tug at the metal clip, she held it in her mouth and said "Hold on Gem" right before she started shaking her head Side to side until she heard a clipping noise, she released the piece in her mouth, letting it fall. She smiled at Gem "Did that hurt?" She asked a little worried as she walked past the filly and wrapped her teeth around Stone's halter metal clip, she did the same thing she did to Gem's and waited for the clipping sound before dropping the red halter "There, feel more freed?" She asked

Gem pulled back a little when the filly approached, but then she relaxed as the fabric fell from her face. "No.. it didn't hurt. Thank you" she said happily.
Stone watched with a careful eye then let Isabella undo his halter. "Thank you" he said

The filly smiled happy to help the pair "No worries! Glad I wasn't too rough hehehh" She chuckled "How old are you guys?" She asked tilting her head "I'm 8 months! Practically a full grown mare!" Isabella said prancing on the spot
