Lily heard a faint sound as she walked away, but shook it off, thinking it was just a wild animal. Edited at April 1, 2023 10:52 AM by Galloping Stables

West realized Lily probably wasn't far away... and he had to make a descision whether to bellow for help or stay quiet... to keep her safe. Being the prideful and caring stallion he was, he fought silently. His wounds grew bigger and he found new ones, but in the end the cougar lay dead at his feet, and West glanced up, the world spun, then he bellowed now that it was safe. He knew Lily would hear him, and he knew he needed help... the world went black, and he crashed to the ground for the second time that week

After a few minutes, Lily heard another cry, and thinking this wasn't a trick she rushed back the way she had come

"WEST!!" Lily cried when she saw the stallion on the grass. "West, wake up! No, no no!" Lily was in panick, and seeing West's wounds made her cringe, but she faced them with terrified defiance.

West muttered something that sounded like, "Stop screaming.., I'm awoke... obnoxious..." there were a couple words in the middle too, but she couldn't hear them. He fluttered his eye open weakly. "Hey, how are you doing?" He joked, letting out a small, wheezing cough.

"As well as I normally am, except my best friend is DYING, so that's an improvment." Lily said sarcasticlly, urging West to standup if he could.

West raised his head weakly. "Can't I just stay here for a while? I don't think stubbornly running around sounds as fun now." He snorted, laying his head back down and breathing heavily.

"Go ahead, I won't do anything to stop you."

West snorted, staying still. He fell asleep, and a night passed. When he woke up his wounds were clotted, and didn't hurt so much, so he got up. West winced at the sharp pain in the deeper gashes, but limped over to the water to get a drink

Jen stepped over into the water, splashing it up over his wounds. It hurt agonizingly bad, but he just kept splashing until they stopped dripping red. He then walked over and started grazing, knowing that not eating would make the situation worse
