West had not really made any quick connections in the herd, so he had sort of wandered off for a while. He was returning now, slowly, only because he wanted to be around other horses.. even if he couldn't speak with them. He glanced around at the herd, which was still normal, although Mystery looked sort of upset.

Mystery's gaze flew from the ground up to Ghost as the stallion approached her, putting on her winning smile "Pfft yeah! Of course I'm alright! Just had a chat with the stallion who looks a bit like Phantom... And how have you been Ghost? Nothing too dramatic i hope?" She asked with a joking tone at the end. Her eyes catching West in the distance, she accidentally forgot he was even here "Hey Ghost? West looks rather lonely... I feel bad, should we go talk to him? Make him feel more welcome and included?" Mystery asked looking at Ghost again

Ghost snorted at mysterys dramatic act before he nodded when she asked about west "shure" he said tossing his mane

Mystery smiled "Okie" She said nuzzling his shoulder then trotting over to West next to Ghost "Hey West, how are you settling in? Feeling comfortable?" She asked with a smirk and small head tilt

West had meandered even closer and was now right on the outskirts of the herd when he stopped to stand under the shade of a lone pine. He had started to relax when he heard a voice- Mystery's- and looked up. "Oh.. yeah I'm doing fine." He offered a small smile. "Just hanging out, I guess."

Mystery smiled back and listened "Oksy, well just making sure. Because we're not like the usual herds you may find, so no need to be wary! Uuuunless You're here for the herd" She joked. Well, half joked. But who Could tell

West nodded before wincing at her last sentence. Joking or not... "I can assure you I have no intention of taking this herd. There is absolutely no reason to." He stated firmly.

Mystery shifted her wait onto her back right leg, she was almost shocked at how quick this stallion was to respond "Oh- Well thank you, i'll trust you" She responded in a serious yet still kind voice before leaving the stallions to talk

ghost watched as myster was there and gone in a snap looking a bit confused "i dont know what stresses me out more mystery or the herd" he joked shaking his head at her antics

West nodded, an answer in its own, and watched the golden mare for a moment before moving towards the stream to take a drink.
