Satan was walking around minding his own business when he walked past a stream. He didn't see the golden mare or the other mare as he walked past.

West watched as Mystery walked back out of the woods, the mare went to talk to her, and Ghost went to talk to a different mare. He flicked an ear and lowered his head to graze, feeling strangely uneasy.

West sniffed the air, his hair pricking with caution as he trotted away from the herd, towards a cove of trees. He paused outside and smelled again, his brown eyes widening at the now strong scent of mountain Lion. The animal jumped at him from in the tree, landing on his back. West immediately without a moments hesitation, pulled his famous trick on it. He flipped over backwards and slammed down on the cougar. It screeched in pain, wriggling out from under him and leaving when it realized there'd be no easy meal. Relaxing when he knew the herd would be safe, West winced when he realized Ghost might be angry about this.. some stallions liked to protect their own herd. He winced again as he noticed blood trickling down his sides. It must've dug in its claws before it departed.

Mystery's head shot erect in concern when she heard what SOUNDED like a mountain lion, one ear pricked foward and the other pinned as she hastily trotted back to make sure her herd friends were safe, she stayed with them and insured that they were okay, making sure no one ran in a panic while Ghost went out to see what was going on. She grew anxious as she realized the mountain lion must 've gone for him, but he looked like he could defend himself, and Ghost had gone that direction so IF West needed back up, Ghost would be there
