(Im back lol) Royal smiled at isabella's comment, but when she asked himif he liked what he saw in a carefree tone, royal felt a surge of......anxiaty?.....joy?....no, disire, he looked isabella over, forlock to hoof, and smiled at her, "Yes." He turned to the herd, hoping nobody noticed his violent blushing, "Everybody, Isabella will be leading you until I can heal enough to lead, please respect her, and give help if needed." He turned back to Isabella ~Dammit im blushing again~ "Lets head out."

(Damn RFS I love Sorra's can do attitude! <3) _____ Isabella Isabella's face turned shocked at first to Royal's response, then brightened slightly, her face turning a bright red, she looked away and did her best to force her face to return to normal, when she looked back, her gaze on the stunning black brindle Stallion was soft. She looked at the rest of the herd as Royal called out to them, her soft smile mixing between nerves, and honour, she met his eyes when he turned to her and nodded "Ok, I'll do my best" Isabella turned to the herd "Ok everyone, I know of a safe path we can take to go north bound! I'll make sure nothing dangerous hurts us! And Royal will be right behind us!" She called out as a alert, looking at Sorra as she spoke, her gaze turning soft again "Thank you, Sorra" She spoke softly watching Sorra go to round up the yearlings before starting off in the northern direction. _____ Lamia The light bay pinto mare glared up as the leaders called out to the herd, saying they were gonna be leaving, she left her spot guarding the cave and huffed under her breath "Finally", as she walked towards the herd she saw the yearlings run into their positions as Sorra demanded then, thinking to herself -Eww disgusting! Foals are so useless!- but she kept walking wanting to avoid the younger horses, she kept to the edge of the herd Edited at June 1, 2025 02:16 AM by Hyrule_Stables

IM BACKKKKKKK lols)) Royal Smiles proudly as isabella begains leading the herd north, and he nods to each horse in turn as they pass, and takes up the rear, staying a good 10 feet behind the last horse to have a clear view all around him. He keeps a steady limping pace, not putting any weight on his back left leg, underestimating the pain, but he puts it as a afterthought, rest will have to wait till the herd is safe.

(Yayyyy! I was worried this RP was done for... But yet Isabella can't do anything without her lead stallion ;) ) Isabella kept a walk for most of the journey, only getting the herd to trot a mere few times before going back to walk for Royal's sake. They got almost 2 miles from where they started, the sun was getting pretty high, and Isabella kept her eyes out for anything dangerous, but after a long trek she stopped "We shall rest here for a hour before continuing, there's a short stream if anyone is thirsty, grass if you're hungry, and plenty of trees for shads if anyone needs to lay down" She explained trying her best to sound professional. She walked through the herd to find Royal "Hey, how are you holding up?" She asked, offering a smile

Royal keeps his eyes glued to the tree line, stoping only when the herd slowes to a halt, signaling a rest break. He lays down to rest, then smiles at isabella as she walks over, "Im doing good, didin't spot any more cougers so we should be safe for now, how's it like up there?"

Isabella smiled softly at the stallion's response "Good, I'm glad, I had a feeling this route was well hidden from any predators shorter then a pony" She spoke in a relieved tone. She laid down near him, leaving a 30 cm distance so that she didn't hurt his leg by accident, she looked at the herd then the path ahead as he asked his question, taking in the cool scent breeze "It's ok, no danger, just a little stressful not being able to see the herd in front of me" She said with a huff, she looked at him again "Ready to move in 20?" She asked with a nudge to his neck

Royal chuckles softly at her response, and scooches a bit closer to her after she's settled on the grass, then sighs, "Yea, leading can take a bit of adjusting, but your doing amazing for your first time." He nudges her back gently, a soft red inching up his muzzle, "Yup, i'll be good, just a scratch."

(aww i can't help it this is so cuteeeee🥹great way to come back) The paint mare smiled brightly when Royal chuckled at her half-joke, feeling a slightly warmer air edge her side as the black brindle stallion scooched a little closer to her, making her feel comfort as she thought carefully about how much traveling the herd can do per day with breaks and Royal's injury, she spoke softly not meaning to let out her thought "Maybe a few miles..? Maybe.. With 4 breaks throughout the day for Royal... Hmm.. Perhaps 4 day journey to the south lands with no predator interuptions". Once the mare was done zoning out, she caught Royal's words about how it can be difficult to adjust to leading, she tilted her head and nodded "Yeahhhh.. But i'm sure i'll get the hang of it as we travel to the safer territory, i mean at least it's not permanent. Once your leg heals you'll be leading again in no time!" She said with confidence accepting the stallion's gentle nudge with a soft blow on his forlock in a attempt to blow out a tiny twig, her soft and friendly caring smile returning at his final answer "Ok good, we won't start up again until You're ready so take your time to rest" She suggested with a short side eye before glancing at Lamia who was standing by herself clearly thinking "What do you suppose she's thinking about now?" She asked, almost making a game of it (i just re read back through the rp lol i forgot Lamia's sence of smell 🤣🤮) Edited at August 28, 2025 03:57 PM by Hyrule_Stables

Sorra stayed with the yearlings, one straying off once they steadied. The mare stalked the colt, her cold presence speaking all the words needed to be spoken without her mouth working. The colt loped off, Sorra cutting him off sharply. He went to turn again, the mare in his way suddenly. He turned and ran back to the herd, Sorra nipping at his hocks. "Move it people**, I said move it!" She barked, the yearlings grouping back together as the mare glanced around them. Movement caught her gaze in the bushes, putting the most mature of the yearlings in charge while she went and investigated. They were like a overwhelming, consuming wave. Coyotes flooded out from everywhere, the number too overwhelming as Sorra fought her hardest. After leaving the last of them whimpering and sprinting away, she assessed her own wounds. Numerous cuts, light head, dizzy, really dizzy. The mare turned and stumbled her way back to the herd, vision pulsing in waves as her head throbbed. Her breathing was almost ragged, her lungs feeling as though they would collapse in any minute.
