Dixie tried to catch her breath but couldn't so she spoke around her puffing breaths "i don't even know... Macy was just playing around until she took a bite at my shoulder... it hurts and then i ran..." she breathed heavily and gave a soft shake of her sweaty body

West tipped his head. "...why were you and Macy's fighting?" He asked, checking her wound and gently splashing some water on it. He was failing at his job... gen couldn't even protect his herd from theirselves

she shook her head "i don't even know! she was taunting me then she nipped me playfully... then i nipped her back. she nipped me harder and i pinned my ears at her and nipped her... then she bit me!" she gasped when he splashed her bite. it was deeper than she thought when she looked back at it in the reflection

West flinched at her gasp. "I'm sorry.." he said quietly, but kept cleaning it out the best he could. "I'm sure you will get over it. If it started as a tease, maybe just either ask her to stop nicely, or whatever she is teasing you about, go do it Or fix it. What is she teasing you about?" West asked, raising his head as he finished cleaning out the wound.

she gave a slight gulp at his question "not much of anything..." she dropped her head as she winced at the sting in her shoulder and the inward sting in her chest as she spoke. -why don't i just tell him...- at the end of her answer, Macy answered as she stopped beside them "i was telling her she needed to be a big girl. i gave her a reassuring nip like we did as foals but then she nipped back!" she snorted and stuck her muzzle in the air. Dixie snprted at her "didn't know you would be so rude about it!" "about what!?"Macy shot back as she eyed the stallion. "i was telling her she needed to talk to you. she's such a push over!" she bumped her sister with her nose and turned, flicking her tail in her face. "i did what you wanted!" she shot back. "leave me alone now!" Dixie stomped. Scarlet watched in horror as her mother turned and reared at her sister, trashing the air with her hooves. Dixie reared up and caught Macy in the side as she sliced the air with her own hooves.

West looked... surprised and appalled at the same time. "You were fighting... over me..?" He murmured, his eyes.. hurt. When they started fighting West almost got a little bit mad. He shoved his big body between them. "Hey! You two stop fighting or I will make you!" He growled, forcing his voice to be even deeper and sound dangerous. He knew sometimes he needed to actually act like a leader... he couldn't just be an comforter. "You two need to chill out. I don't care if you are having a 'family argument'. Macy please ding make me Dixie's 'uncomfortable' by telling her to talk to me. Dixie.... I'm not a fire breathing dragon! Don't get so mad at Macy." West sounded... sad. Angry. More sad, disappointed even.

Phantom watched West walk off in the direction of the mares fighting. She got a little closer to see what all the commotion was about. She was a bit surprised to hear that they were fighting over West but if they were fighting over West that only meant one thing. One of those two mares liked him.. She stared at both of them she figured it started once she started messing around wit him. Phantom snorted walking off, she didn't understand the whole jealousy over a stallion. If one of them wanted West they could have him she didn't care... at least Phantom thinks she doesn't care..

Mystery came back from a cave she was exploring, and saw two mares fighting... "Maybe it was a bad time to come back..." She whispered to herself, she waddled under a apple tree and layed down, eating any apple that dare fall near her (XD)

West shook his head just... amazed. He really couldn't believe that Dixie didn't want to talk to him, and he couldn't believe Macy would be so rude about it. He glanced iver to Phantom, almost wishing she would throw another apple at him so he had an excuse to leave. -Save me...- he thought, glancing between the two furious mares

Mystery then realized who was fighting... Macy and Dixie! She quickly got up and cautiously made her way over, she whinnied to get little Scarlet's attention "Scarlet, come hang out with me for a bit while your mum and aunt... Sort something out" she encouraged the filly to follow her back to the apple tree, it wasn't good for her to see her family fight.. Mystery started telling Scarlet a story about a secret land filled with apples and other foals to keep her company, she worried about Macy and Dixie fighting
