The young mare continued to walk around the woods, seemingly lost in her thoughts about something before she stopped in her tracks. Hearing something before looking around with her ears perked and holding her head high. Luna let out a nervous snort as she side stepped slightly to the right, ready to take off if she needed to. Her ears went back, facing where the sound is coming from before letting out another snort but she soon relaxed, the mare would notice West as the crossbred let out a sigh of relief. |

Dreams couldn't sleep- yet again. She got up and looked around, desperately trying to find Harmony, Cosmo, or West. She located Harmony and Cosmo together, asleep. She smiled very lightly. -that's good. He's right for her.- she thought slowly. -Where's West?- 'Um... guys?' She ran over to Cosmo and Harmony and shoved them awake. 'The wolf is back!' She looked through the light fog and saw the animal glaring at them. She shifted her hooves uneasily as she waited for Cosmo and Harmony to get up. Dreams noticed the wolf shift its beady eyes to the foals, playing unattended a few feet away from their parents. -Dreams... let's not be rash here...- she thought as the wolf started to move slowly through the fog. Then, without noticing the pain shooting through her leg, she took off toward the wolf and reared up on her hind legs, kicking out at the foaming animal. 'Get! Away! From! My! Herd!' She said with each kick as she inched closer. Dreams took a fast step to the side as the wolf lunged at her, and she reared up again, bringing her hooves down on his head, causing the wolf to collapse. With a dissatisfied snort, Dreams brought her hooves down on the wolves head and back one more time before limping away back to the herd. |

(That's fine xD I was being impatient) +++ West lifted his head sharply as he noticed Luna. "There was a rabid wolf at the herd. Are you okay?" He asked before hearing a snarl and a crash back at the herd. "I'll be right back!" He yelped, the urge to help overwhelming the knowledge Cosmo could take care of it. He quickly raced back, taking comfort in having seen Luna fine, his eyes widening with alarm as he arrived in time to see Dreams stomp the wolves head into the ground. "Dream! Are you okay!?!" He asked, rushing over. "Did it bite you?" |

Harmony, roused rather rudely, from her bliss, jumped up and blinked her eyes clear in time to see Dreams kill the wolf, and Wild come running (faster than she had ever seen!) Up to Dreams. 'phew' she thought 'at least she has her mate with her." She turned back to lay down, when she noticed Cosmo looking at her. She tipped her head at him, and asked "what? Is there something on my face?" |

'I'm fine, West.' She smiled. 'I'm still plenty agile and I was able to get out of its way. Besides... The foals are more important than I am. Their lives will always come first. I won't let another foal die because of me.' Dreams shifted from hoof to hoof uneasily. 'Where were you?' |
