Tigress caught a glimpse of Wildfire, proudly protecting the herd just like usual. She hoped he didn't blame her for this, she hoped he didn't know her true feelings yet. She turned back to Lilac, patiently waiting for her response. Edited at November 2, 2022 09:51 PM by Flying Chance Stable

Wildfire saw Tigress and Lilac and immediately his posture slackened. His ears laid lower, his tail was tucked, his body was tense, his eyes were wide. His head hung lower and his feet started to drag. But for a few moments. Had Tigress just looked over here? He hoped she hadn't seem him looking vulerable like that, he hated when someone saw his weak side. He changed his posture back to the proud, confident stallion he wanted to be seen as. But hadn't he already shown Tigress his vulnerability? His weak side. When he spoke about his mistakes of keeping the herd safe, him showing her that beautiful corner of grass. Alone. Surrounded by light. Their eyes and bodies had finally took a break in those few moments. They had felt...calm. True peace. Hadn't he wanted to show her that? Sultan smiled as he walked around her and slowly layed down behind her so he was on the outside of her. "Wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it" He tilted his head as he said that to her while he layed with her.

Lilac looked into Tigresses eyes, "Look...I have been suspecting you like WIldfire, I'm not mad at you at all....I'm mad at myself, I should never pulled him away to talk to him....now things are just going to be...akward." Lilacs head wasnt even looking at Tigress anymore. "I-Im sorry again..." Lilac started walking away to the herd, she didnt want to be with anyone involved...not even Wildfire.

Tigress trotted to keep up with lilac, "Please wait! I just--I have something I need to say, I need to get it off my chest, please." Tigress pleaded with Lilac, sorrow in her eyes. Edited at November 3, 2022 06:41 AM by Flying Chance Stable

Without waiting for Lilacs response she jumped in. "Look, all of this, the whole situation, has been extremely hard on me. I never thought I could trust anyone again. When you showed me kindness, asking me into your herd even though you didn't at the time know about my background, I vowed it was my job to protect the herd. But restless nights and restless days always on the lookout for danger put me in a tired and vulnerable position. The one day I took a break, that's when the attacks went down, I blamed myself. Yet, Wildfire felt the same way. I felt like mabye I could connect with someone again, mabye someone would trust me and I could learn to trust them, look, I know you know I like Wildfire, because you saw my face when I accidentally overheard you guys, but I don't even know if we are friends. I wanted to take things slow. And in the end I don't blame you for anything. I forgive you, you had something, an urge of what you needed to do, and you did it, it didn't turn out great but...it's just like the day I took a break, it also didn't turn out well. Through all this I've learned it's okay to show your emotions sometimes and-" Tigress just realized what she had said while she was off on a rant, her and Lilac had connections too, smaller ones, but they were still alike in little ways....she had discovered way too much about horses in these past few days, she knew Lilac needed to be alone for awhile so she carefully stepped away towards a small pool of water by the edge of the herd.
