Hope woke up with a start and went to the waters edge, something had woken her up but she wasnt sure what it was. Looking up she noticed a wolf nearby and freaked out. She wanted to wake the others but didnt know them very much so she stayed stilled.

GUYS I'M HERE I SWEAR NOT DEAD FEELING DEAD THO 😅😅😅)

Dreams smiled as West walked away and she settled down to sleep.

(Oo I got another drama plot creeping up in my mind. Don't know how it'll work though so I'm not telling anyone <3)

West let his gaze scan the herd to make sure everyone was settled down for the night. When his eyes passed over Harmony and Cosmo he felt a stab.. why? No.. that couldn't be it. He looked away towards the stars, letting out a slow breath. He had known Harmony for forever. No way was this happening.

Harmony woke softly as Luna, trying to be quiet, padded away. She then realized that Cosmo had, apparently, snuggled up close to her. She carefully peeled herself away from him, and got up. Feeling quite thirsty she walked towards the stream, but stopped short when she saw the wolf slinking towards the herd. Feeling the urgency to alert Cos, she around turned quickly and ran smack-dab into West "oof-"

West had been standing idly and watching, but as the night got deeper his eyes started to drift shut. He had finally started to drop off when he got ran into. He let out a grunt of surprise, his ears perking forward as he opened his eyes. As he saw Harmony he opened his mouth to say something, but quickly spotted.. a lone wolf? Why would a single wolf even go anywhere near a herd of horses? "Excuse me for a moment." He said before trotting towards the stream. The wolf staggered around, and thats when West saw foamy saliva dripping from its jaws and the crazy glint in its eye. +Crap+ he thought at the same time as he jerked his head up. "Everyone, get up!" He bellowed, lurching back to push some of the laying mares from their rest and getting them away from the wolf. "Rabid wolf- don't get close!" He warned, waking Cosmo as well.

Dreams awoke with a start at Wests loud voice. 'What's a... wolf?' She whispered, scared. A million thoughts rushed into her head at once. If there was danger, she couldn't run. She wouldn't be able to save herself. -damn snake...- she thought gloomily. -Dreams, think only good thoughts.- her mind was still racing, though. She looked around the herd and found West standing by the stream, facing an animal about half the size she was. A shiver was sent through her spine at the sight of the furry animal. Instinct told her that it was dangerous- more thoughts flooded her head. -no, no, no! Stop thinking that stuff.- Dreams looked around for the two foals, making sure they were being protected by one of their parents. The mares moved into a protective position around the foals and faced the stream where West was standing. Dreams stood about 20 feet behind West, ready to help if he needed it. 'West. Don't do anything stupid...' she shivered again.

(hey guys I might be somewhat inactive for a couple of days I'm really busy this weekend :))

West lifted his head and didn't budge an inch- he wasn't going to let that wolf get any closer to the herd. He knew some of the herd couldn't run, so he wasn't letting that wolf anywhere. At Dreams words he chose to mostly ignore her, and went closer, stomping a hooves and trumpeting another warning at the wolf. The rabid animal snarled, a guttural sound, and staggered a little closer before pausing and seeming to change direction, going downstream and disappearing. "Good." West mumbled, relaxing as he turned back.

Harmony About fell over running into him, and almost told him there was danger when she saw that he noticed it. Nosing awake the sleepy foals, she comforted them as the rest of the mares surrounded them. All except.... Luna! She had run off into the woods! She looked up in time to see West step forward and scare off the wolf, who headed downstream into the woods. She made sure the foals were being watched by their Mama's, before running over to West+Cosmo and saying "Luna! She went into the woods before I noticed the wolf! And she's not back yet."

Hope stayed still in her tracks not moving an inch she was too frightened.
