LIGHTED CALIFORNIA|MARE|WINDYS DAUGHTER|
With a light snort Luz leaped onto the air she had been born in captivity but her mother told her their was a herd that would take her in if she could exscape. The three year old decided to take the risk and jump the fence. Her hocks brushed against the barbed wire but she made it over breaking into a high speeded gallop her tail whipping in the wind. Her hazle eyes scanned the woods as she jumped trees and dodged thistle with amazing grace. her shod hooves beat against the ground mud and rocks packing in them making an uncomfortable layer of the earth but she didn't care. With her hopes high that she would be free of that vile place she galloped on until she reached lands that where just as her mother described. A mare named mystery was who her mother instructed her to find. That or a stallion named west. "Mystery!! West!!" She whickered her voice filled with hope that she thought was lost as she slowed to a trot through the tall grass. It hadnt looked like a herd had been here in ages. She stopped raising her head and lookingbaroind the field

The herd had left years ago but ghost couldn't bear to leave. This had been his home and he still had hope that windy was out their somewhere sure he had burreyed her after that cruel stallion killed her but he had seen her in the mountains that day and though she wasn't his blood sister he still couldn't leave the grounds he knew she would come back too. Hearing a voice he ducked out of the thick woods his mane knotted and his tail filled with sticks and thorns. "The herd left six years ago young one. You seem well taken care of why are you out here?" Even in his spirit form he was so closely blind to this spot that he could talk to other horses and live out here as a well ghost which is ironic considering his name is ghost. His blue eyes focused on the filly "windy sent you didn't she?"
