Emma went to go tack up Lexi. She approached the horse's stall, unlocking it and grabbing the mare by the halter. Emma led Lexi out and put her in the cross-ties. Emma unbuckled and pulled off the balnket, revealing the rest of the mare. She hung the blanket on the stall's bar, making sure it wouldn't get stepped on by a walking horse or human. She turned and walked to go get the grooming tote, saddle, and saddle pad. Emma returned with all three things, dropping them next to Lexi. Lexi danced to the side, slightly startled by this loud noise. "Sorry, pretty girl. I didn't mean to scare ya." Emma soothed the horse, patting the bay's nose.

"Ah,you got Lex?Lucky. She'll take you places." Caden commented. In the past,he had visited the school and had the chance of riding the mare.He continued walking and put his tack, helmet, and crop up.He watched as Elysia bucked and decided to take him in.Once he had the stallion,he brought him inside and rugged him.Once he had rugged the stallion,he turned him back out.Caden took the wheelberrow to Elysia's stall.Getting rid of excess hay, muck, and old shavings. He then climbed the ladder to the extra closet, where he grabbed the 50 lbs. bag of shavings before heading down the ladder, shavings slung over his shoulder, and emptying them in the stallions stall.

"Yeah." She said, tightening the girth. She left the halter on Lexi for a moment, walking over to Caden. "Hey. I don't think I got to introduce myself yet. I'm Emma." She said, offering her hand for him to shake. When he did she stepped back out of his way. "So. How do you like the school so far?" She asked, making small talk. "I saw you had fun on the cross-country course." She joked with a smile. "I also had Lexi balk when we came to the water..." She tucked her hands in her pockets, hoping she wasn't being a bother. "Well, see ya later." She said, walking back over to Lexi and mounting up. Edited at November 26, 2024 12:11 PM by Blue Diamond

"Caden.Caden Ortiz." He replied with a smile. "Yeah he,I dont know what happened but,he dumped me." Caden listened intently. "Yeah, good to see ya!" He waves goodbye before departing.Caden then walks to the gym before doing a workout he does for riding.Once he finished,he headed back to the school and to his spacious dorm.Once inside,he made a mid-day snack as he was a tad bit hungry. He could hear the wind blow and horses whinny,he could see the leaves blow and water lap.He made a rice-cake with bannans, strawberries, and honey.A quite good snack in his mind.

Emma rides Lexi at a trot, warming the bay mare up before heading over to the beautiful cross-country course. Emma sighs as Lexi balks at the first jump. "I'm sorry. That's my fault. I looked down." Emma reassured the horse. She stroked the bay neck, feeling Lexi's pulse as Emma runs her hands along it. She pats the mare's neck one more time before circling and trying again. This time Lexi sails over the jump expertly with Emma looking between Lexi's ears at their next jumping target. Emma clicks to the mare as they canter near the next jump, asking for a little more speed. Emma didn't realise it was the water until she got splashed on her legs upon landing. Emma giggled, excited for this new adventure.

Once he finished eating,he went and mucked out a few stalls, ensuring they were clean. When he finished he tacked Elysia up in showjumping gear before heading to the showjumping course. He lowered the jumps from 1.50m to 1.20m.He warmed up the sleek dark bay stallion well before asking to pop over a single rail.Once he decided it would make due for now,he picked up a faster canter before making a small course. The to finished the small course with ease.Caden then came up with a large course, envolving the entire arena.Again, they cleared the course with ease. "Good boy." Caden praised.

The sprawling equestrian facility, set against a backdrop of rolling green fields, was alive with activity. Riders, dressed in their formal competition attire, led their well-groomed horses through the grand entrance toward the stables and warm-up areas. The horses, in peak condition, carried their finely crafted tack with elegance, their coats gleaming in the sunlight. Spectators, some standing along the sidelines, watched in awe as the athletes prepared for the challenges ahead. The atmosphere was one of anticipation and nervous energy, with the sun casting a soft golden glow across the scene, signaling the start of a highly anticipated event.

Emma groomed out Lexi, though she was nearly shaking with fear of losing. She breathed a long sigh, trying to calm the nerves but knew that even the best riders got nervous before shows. She made sure Lexi was nearly glowing with beauty before even thinking of tacking her up. Emma walked and got their tack, placing it gently on the bay's back and tightening the girth. Emma then walked to grab the bridle. Lexi thought it was a good day to toss her head and knot her mane, so that was a fun thing to have to fix. "Hold still, Lex. I just need you to be good today, be sassy after the show." Emma said, reaching up for the horse's head again that was barely out of her reach. "Fine." She said and hung the bridle. "When I come back, you better not have this attitude, young lady." She said, walking to get dressed. Once Emma finished getting dressed, she walked back to the mare who was now acting like nothing had ever happened. "Sometimes, you scare me with your mood swings, Lex." She said, popping on the bridle.
