Mystery and Willow arrived back into the clearing where the herd was still hanging out. As Mystery walked closer she lifted her head a little and sniffed the air, a strange new scent... Human Horse? Mystery looked at Willow who clearly didn't know the smell, but she took was sniffing about, Mystery's heart began to race as she grew worried for Ebony and Dixie, And Ghost and West. She sped into a faster walk until she saw him, a pinto Thoroughbred... Like her, She smiled at first sight excited to meet new horses. Then turned serious because he smelt like humans... Then smiled gently again "Hi.. I'm Mystery, is that human smell?" She asked not wanting to sound rude. She shook her mane to the other side and glanced at Dixie and Ghost still confused on what she walked into with Willow. The younger palomino mare walking up to her golden dam "Who are you?" She asked curiously glancing at everyone than the new horse.

Mystery flicked her ears nervously but wasn't too worried

scarlet looked over at the golden mares with a snort his the metal plate on his halter shining in the sun with "im scarlet and yes i was with humans i was a jumper they beat me so i jumped out )he looked down at willow the neat button briads on his neck showing off all his well toned mussles and a few scars and whip marks

Mystery's jaw dropped at what the stallion said "They... Beat you? I'm so sorry to hear that.. I never got beat after Flame got his herd captured, no he thought they were cruel. but they showed us kindness. Though I still ran away from there." Mystery went on.

___________ Willow

She looked up at the stallion curiously as his mane seemed different to the rest of the herd horses "Why is your hair doing that?" She asked confused about braids . At the name Mystery brought up Willow couldn't help but cringe and feel bad for her mother. But she didn't let it show, she shouldn't hold on to what may have happened in the past, Willow backed up a step to give Scarlet room "Well that sure is a pretty name! Did you know there's a Scarlet in this herd!?" Willow stayed trying to sound smart "Oh and I'm Willow!" She said almost forgetting to introduce herself "Are you joining the herd?" She asked tilting her head slightly

(pfft i forgot about the other scarlet 😭)

scarlet looked over at mystery "some are good others are bad " he the looked back over at willow "they braid and band my mane to keep it clean tidy and out of their face" hetilted his head with a snort "well then call me scar so no one gets confused" he smiled before shaking his head "i dont know if i can"

Dixie tilted her head a little as they spoke. "Scarlet is my niece. She's around here somewhere. Now that I think about it, I haven't talked to Macy and Scarlet and Fisher in a long time! Im off to find them. Bye bye"

she turned and started at a walk, watching Ebony for a while before kicking into a trot. "Macy!" She called out happily at the sight of her white coated sister.

Macy lifted her head to see Dixie coming up to her. "Dixie!" She called back. She noted the weight that Dixie had put on. "How's Ghost?" She asked. Dixie shook her head. "Not good" she said then looked down. "I think it hurts Ebony a ton. Thankfully im here and so is West so we're like an emotional support pillow for her." She said as she looked back toward the small group crowding around Ghost.

Scarlet noticed her mother and Aunt Dixie talking, so she took of into a gallop. "Aunt Dix!" She cried out, sliding to a stop and nuzzling the bay mare. Macy nuzzled Scarlets white coat and stepped back. "How is everyone?" Scarlet asked.

Fisher followed Scarlet, a small distance between her body and his. He didnt want to be seen as possessive. He bumped his shoulder lightly against hers as Dixie spoke. "Not bad but not good. There's just too much going on..." she seemed to be lost in thought when a horsefly landed on one of her Appaloosa spots. Dixie jumped backwards and launched into the air, her legs flying out. She dropped onto the ground and rolled. The fly buzzed around for a few seconds before it flew off.

Dixie heaved herself to her hooves, he developing foal making it a little harder to stand than normal. She shook her mane then looked at the other horses. "Ok then... well I think im going to go back now" she was embarrassed but she still stepped away. She flicked her tail as she walked then stopped beside West and Ebony.

Mystery nodded slowly "Yeah that's true" She said sniffing the air and looking around before paying attention again.

She smiled and her head straightened up as she walked around Scarlet "Oh... Well it's your mane not theirs! If you want it to fly in their faces then they should allow you" Willow said checking out the bands that held the braid together "Does it hurt?" She asked. At his next words she shook her head "Oh no I didn't mean it that way! I meant it's cool that there's more than one horse with the same or similar names!" She assured.

Willow and Mystery's gaze moving to West as Scarlet said he wasn't sure, Mystery staying quiet but Willow saying something "Aww dad can we keep him? Pleaaaase! He doesn't look bad" Willow asked trying to put on puppy eyes

(Lol it's fine Ghost! I like this horse! Almost as much as Ghost ;) )

scar nodded at mysterys words before looking back at willow "nope they dont hurt at all" he smiled before almost jumping out of his coat as the white stallion rolled over so he was laying on his stomach

ghost was watching the new gorse for a bit before he sat up he shook out his mane the feather whipping his face before he turned to scar "my only advice is to break the bands ceeping in your braids then have willow pull off the halter " he snorted

Willow glared at Ghost with determination "Yeah! Yeah he needs to lose the braids and become WiIiIiIiLd like the rest of us!" She cheered before checking out the halter "Okay... What Even is that!? What is it something they use to drag horses around?" Willow asked in a sarcastic manner looking around at everyone with a smirk thinking she was so smart

(I think West ditched us)

Dixie watched the new horse with a wary expression. "So... scar" she began then paused. "What brings you out here? Why aren't you still at your human camp?" She asked. If the human came looking for him and got the rest of them caught... Dixie mentally kicked herself. She couldn't think of that
