Thats fair, I can tell pretty well when thr insensitive laminae is getting a bit thin and too close to the sensitive laminae, but I definitely recommend you don't self trim when you are starting out :)

The stallion glanced at Dixie before slowly walking in. As they had gotten closer to the desert, the heat had Increased, so this water felt great.

Ebony tossed her head and bucked as she ran around, managing to splash Ghost's legs a little in the process. She suddenly stopped and huffed. "I know it hasn't been THAT long but I hope West and Dixie come back soon." She mumbled, her ears flattening for a moment.

West lowered his head slightly. "Because we need to find Mystery." He paused. Like that was going to happen. They could probably look for years and not find her. "I said to Ebony we'd come home within 5 days, so we only have 4 left."

West slowly walked out of the water, scanning the horizon and thinking where a bright golden horse would do if she didn't want to be found. He decided not the desert, because that'd be like a death sentence. The jungle. That's where it would be easiest to hide, and to muddy up your coat so you weren't easily spotted. West knew the way to the jungle and back. They would be able to get back. He reassured himself of that. "Let's go to the jungle. It'll be about a days hike, then we can spend 1 day looking, and it'll take 2 days to come back." He answered. It wouldn't be long to look, but it'd be something.
