"No. I feel like i've been a brat and that you hate me." Anna said. "I know you are upset, I just wanted to bring it up." She said sadly. The girl slowly sat up, but still looked down.

Brian sighed, "I don't hate you, theres just some things You need to know."

Anna felt bad. She wrapped her arms around Brian and wiped her eyes. "What do you want me to know?" She asked hoping it wasn't bad.

Brian puased thoughtfully, "When I was a kid, my father beat me with a belt." Brian began, "He was a drunk and he went out every night to drink beer in the bars, remember my half sister Mal I told you about? Well, he would just get all of these girls pregnant and then go home to Mom without saying a word." Eventually Mom was getting beat by him, and she divorced. I don't want to be like my Dad, Anna." Brian hugged her, "I've been going in a different direction and trying not to end up like him." Brian sighed

Anna smiled. "It's okay now. I love you Brian." Anna said happily. She felt comforted in his arms.

Milo was standing alone, grazing, he wasn't sure what to do.
