I used to have a whole bunch of 100% trained Ws and Es for exploring. Now I just have two Es and the rest are subs. The only diffence I really see is that the subs rarely make it with out spooking. They still bring in plenty of ebs.

My horses don't explore without being 100% - it's not worth it and I have enough to be more than busy.
