Dixie decided she had to move. She pulled her leg out of the water and pushed herself up to her hooves after Laz escaped. Days looked down at the lion. "Poor guy. Did I just take your pillow?" Laz rubbed against her legs

ghost chuckled at the filly "the weathers windy and i dont think i got painted" he said before looking at west "but i did have to come after you dixie looked so sad i havent seen her like that sense flame told them i was dead" he told west before looking back down at the filly with a small smile

Dixie walked around the perimeter of the herd. She wanted to be the first one to see West if he did return. If he didnt, she would just keep walking. She slowed after the seventh lap.

Ebony swiveled her small ears before standing, her bravery prominent considering she was fearless - now - near two stallions after a stallion killed her mother. She walked up to the white and surveyed his whitewashed body. "Windy. Huh." She mumbled in her high pitched voice before looking at West, and the blood. "You're not okay a-are you. Can I help?" Ebony asked, slowly walking up and staring at one of his wounds like it held the answers to the world.

West looked at Ghost with a heavy sigh, his eyes showing pain.. not just physical pain, but mostly mental pain. "I can't go back Ghost, not yet... all I ever do is ruin everything, then blame myself and apparently thats wrong too." He said quietly, tired.

Ebony stared at West for a moment. "I don't think you ruin everything. You saved me." She pointed out so simply it was almost sad.

West lowered his head slightly at Ebony's words.

ghost looked at west then at ebony "west stop being stupid " he told him firmly " you cant run away from your problems you have to run at them i ran away from mine and now i have no living family and im half blind" he told west before looking back at ebony then back at him " you need to go back to the herd with her or atleast let me take her back to the herd you can portect her alone " he told him before looking at ebony

Dixie continued to hobble around the field, her legs growing tired. She kept walking. She couldn't just stand there and wait. She became more concerned when Ghost didn't return. +where is he? Did they get hurt? Is West alright!?+ Dixie forced herself into a faster walk. "Macy. If any of the horses come back, tell them I'm at the beach. Only if they ask for me. Ok? It's important. " Dixie left, hoping the beach could clear her head. Lazarus followed at a distance.

Macy trotted back into the field with Scarlet and Fisher at her tail. "Is everything alright?" She asked, but Dixie had already started making her way in the direction of the beach.

"What's wrong?" Scarlet asked. "And where's West and Ghost?" Scarlet let her pale blue eyes skim the land.

Fisher stood beside Scarlet, his grullo coat giving a slight shine.
