In the morning West was still awake. He hadn't closed his eyes, apart from blinking every once in a while, all night. He glanced at Dixie before standing, and shaking his pelt.

Ghost stayed in the woods watching out for the herd and burying dawn in her favorite spot the big oak tree

Dixie's head hit the ground with a grunt. She pulled her head up. "Where'd my pillow go?" She asked with a smile. Lax stood and rubbed against Wests legs

Ghost slowly made way back to the herd before floping down to sleep by the tree line "nothing new"

West glanced down as Dixie awoke, wincing. "Oop- Sorry. Feeling any better? We should get back to the herd as soon as possible." He inquired with concern.

|
Dixie nodded. "I feel much better actually. " she pulled herself up although she wasn't on her hooves yet. She managed to get to a standing position but she still didn't put pressure on her leg. She hobbled closer to him with Laz right on her tail. "I don't know how far I can go"

|
West stepped right next to Dixie carefully. "That's fine, I'll help, we'll just go as far as you can right now." He answered, supporting her the most she would allow as they slowly walked forward, back towards the herd. "I hope everyone is doing okay." He mumbled aloud, worry showing plainly in his expression.
