West almost snorted loudly, but it was muffled by his cough. "Of course I'm staying here! The stallion is gone (right, Ghost?) and Ghost can take care of stuff." He answered, his tail twitching. "You're about a mile away from the herd. I have no idea how you got this far. I think there's a stream a little ways that way, but it would be the wrong way, so it's best you rest a little bit then we can go back to the herd." West explained, walking over to stand by her side.

Dixie laid her head down for about thirty seconds befor she started wiggling. "I am not capable of laying still!!!"

West had stayed silent for a whole 30 seconds and had accumulated hope Dixie might stay still when she started wiggling and spoke. He sighed, all his hope leaving. "You ARE. I believe in you." He snorted.

She rolled her eyes then laid her head by his hooves. "Lay down" she commanded then snorted out a laugh "so your not the only one who can boss horses around! I have it in me!" She flicked her tail

(Oh no guys! Yes Wild the stallion WAS dead! My last post Dandelion, was about HOW the stallion GOT to Dixie! When he 'Rammed' through Mystery, to get to the herd? I was doing that for you Sky lol. To lead to the stallion's death... But y'all didn't let me finish 😭 XD Welp... It doesn't matter now, guess i need to manuvre a catch up haha)

West twitched his pelt, shaking his head so strongly his mane whipped around and smacked his face. "I don't boss horses around! I strongly suggest." He smiled just a little. "I can't lay down- what if something comes?" His bad excuse petered out as he sighed.

"West" she pleaded with a bossy look. She rolled her eyes. "Come on. If something comes, you know for a fact you would protect me wether you are standing or laying down!" Lazarus peaked from around a rock with a grumble. "And look! There's Laz!" The lion walked up and nuzzled both West and Dixie

"I'm not a ninja horse that can just glare at something and make it fall down dead." West huffed before giving up as he saw Lazarus. He blew out a breath before laying down, nudging the mountain lion in a friendly way.

(AHHem *Cough cough* *trying to think of what to say* Ahh here we go?)

After the stallion barged through Mystery she fell to the side, looking sorrowful that she couldn't even hold him back. Though she stood up and looked in the direction he was going, worried for the herd's safety, (Though OBVIOUSLY he ran into Dixie!) Mystery's eyes widened as she heard a loud sound coming from Dixie? "Oh n-" She stopped talking as the mare limped through and leaned on her, Mystery stood firm so Dixie wouldn't fall, when Mystery saw tears going down Dixie's face Mystery couldn't hold hers back any longer (Cause crying can be contagious) and felt her own tears stain her face in a dark golden color, though when Dixie 'slipped' in the mud beneath her, Mystery felt bad and tried helping her up. When Dixie didn't want her help she nodded, feeling horrible about all the evants, after West left and Dixie too. Mystery didn't have the need to stay out here, she lowered her head and spent a moment to say goodbye to Dawn before moving back to the herd. After Mystery got there she looked around, everything felt different now that peppy little Dawn wasn't here, Mystery's ability to feel was still absent, she was numb after watching that happen to her old herd mate, she went and stood with the mares trying to be a good herd member. But after a hour of... This, Mystery realized she wasn't happy here, too many losses in her life, and too many memories within this herd. Mystery didn't feel strong enough to push on, so she went to look for Willow.

After she found Willow laying beside Trigger in the woods she approached "Willow? I need to talk to you darlin'" Mystery said softly trying not to break into pieces. When Willow stood up and looked at her with the same sweet innocent face she always had Mystery was forced to look down "I'm going to leave... the herd, i want you to come with me if you want. But if you want to stay than that's okay, i'll just miss you, that's all" Mystery stated, going softer by the end

She got up and nuzzled her mother. She listened as Mystery spoke, her ears falling back as she heard what was said "Mother? No, you can't leave! Please stay! I don't want you to go! I want to be with you! But also here with dad and Scarlet and Athena and Aunt Macy and aunt Dixie! Pleaase! Stay..." Willow begged glancing back at Trigger wondering what he was thinking

It broke her heart to see Willow get upset, she breathed slowly before speaking again "Willow, Sweetheart... I can't stay, too many horrible things have happened, you know Dawn? She's... She's gone, and she was from my old herd, i knew her since she was a filly... But she's gone, and i- can't stay here where all those memories of reuniting are.. I don't think my heart can handle it..." Mystery thought for a moment, a single tear falling down her face as she came to a decision "Willow.. I want you to stay here with Trigger, Athena, Scarlet, West, And everyone else. If you come with me you'll be too sad, and i want you to be happy! So it's best for you to stay here where you CAN be happy!" Mystery choked

___________ Willow

Willow's face only grew more hurt as Mystery went on "Well thyan i-" She was cut off when Mystery got to her last sentence "M-Mum? No! I'm not staying if you're leaving!" She dared, stepping foward trying not to cry infront of Trigger

__________ Mystery

She sighed as Willow protested, stepping foward and nuzzling her shoulder "It's okay, you will be fine. This herd is GREAT! You shall be okay. Okay? I love you my flower! Maybe one day i'll be in or have a herd that you can visit! But until then DON'T come looking for me, it's too dangerous with all the predators and what not" Mystery spoke in her old normal loving, caring tone

___________ Willow

She bursted after feeling her mothers muzzle on her and nuzzled her back "I-... I will miss you, mother... Be safe!" She mumbled into Mystery's gold fur

_________ Mystery

After a loong moment of enjoying her daughters love Mystery stood back and chuckled "I will, don't you worry!" She winked with a nod, turning and walking towards the mountains

_________ Willow

She tried holding on when Mystery backed away, but it didn't stop her mom from leaving, she smiled through her blurry vision as her mother's shiny golden coat disppeared through the trees. After what felt like forever of staring, hoping Mystery was joking and come back, Willow tuned and walked over to trigger "She's gone... She... Really left? That's not like her! She must've REALLY been close to Dawn" Willow said shakily trying to think happy thoughts

Dixie scooted back when he laid down, laying her head on his stomach and finally laying still. She closed her eyes as Lazarus rested at her hooves.
