Mystery nodded in agreement "Yeah, now we're left to watch them hang out with horses their age" She snorted watching Scarlet and Fisher for a moment before sighing "Well I'm kinda tired, i might go to sleep early..." Mystery said with a smile than nudged Dixie "You should go find West! I think he misses you. But don't push yourself to the point where your leg gets sore!" She grinned yet still sounded serious. Mystery had almost felt herself break and tell West and/or Dixie about how she really felt about the damn stallion so many times.. She didn't want it to accidentally slip out so she is constantly trying to get Dixie and West to hang out, with the hope that West will eventually ask Dixie to be his mare

West watched the waves gently lap against the shore, surprisingly quiet for an ocean torrent. The glowing orange ball of fire faded from yellow to pink to red to blue to black as it stretched farther into the sky, a true painting of beauty. All the colors reflected in West's seemingly normal brown eyes, a cacophony of rainbow, vibrant shades of beautiful colors. He angled his head towards the sky and wished.. wished he would never have to deal with losing someone important to him. Wished that Willow didn't want to leave.. maybe she didn't, but since wandering seemed prone in Angel's family and Willow was so obviously in love with Trigger... West didn't know. He wished that his life would be easier and that he wouldn't have feelings for any mare. Look how well that had always ended. He wished his herd could be safe from now on. Wished for all the Foals that were to come to grow up safe and happy. West knew many of these things could never come true, deep down, but as he stared at the stars, the moon, the color of the sunset, and the sun, he felt like maybe... just once... anything was possible.

(Wow Wild that was deep. I almost cried! Good job) Mystery smiled watching Dixie walk away, then huffed as she struggled to lay down. But she made it. She gazed at the stars till she grew drowzy. She knew she'd figure out the whole dilemma she was in soon enough. One thing Mystery desperately wanted was her daughter to sleep next to her _________Willow She laid down huddled up next to Trigger for warmth. She was content with accepting that she loved Trigger, she hoped they'd have a future together, but deep down Willow really wished that their 'future' would continue to be in the herd where everyone she loved and cared for was. As she laid her head down she took a deep breath, everything seemed to be going right for her at the moment, she could only hope it'll last

Dixie nodded at Mystery's words, pulling herself away. She walked around in search of West. When she couldn't find him, she stopped at the creek, collapsing on the ground. She was stressed. She knew that now. Scarlet was leaving, Macy wasn't talking to her anymore, and West was gone. +probably doing stallion things+ she sighed and let her bottom lip sit on the water.

West stood at the edge of the seemingly endless water for a little while longer before turning around. It quickly grew dark behind him, until when he actually got back to the herd it was night. West saw Dixie laying by the stream so he walked over, already concerned. "Are you okay? Feeling any better?" He asked quietly, lowering his head to sniff her leg and see if the infection was gone. "Good news is the infection is mostly gone.. the herbs did their work well." He stated before drinking a little in the stream.

(Oh no Daawn! Ghost light you monster! XD) Mystery shook out of her slumber with a internal feeling that something was wrong. Feeling uneasy, Mystery stood up and wondered through the herd to make sure everyone was okay. West was with Dixie so they were here, Ghost was with another mare so they were safe, Athena was near the herd so she's safe. Willow wasn't but. Mystery knew she was safe with Trigger, Symphony and her mother were safe... So who wasn't here? It finally clicked when she thought about it, Dawn! Where was she? Than Mystery heard a loud stallion cry... Of war, so she turned and bolted towards the sound, usually Mystery would TRY to steer clear of other stallions since they could be horrible, but she needed to find Dawn. Mystery's gaze caught sight of the stallion standing on Dawn "D-Dawn...?" When Mystery finally realized what was happening she grew scared, angry, upset, and worried for the others safety, Mystery's stare turned to sheer anger, she bared her teeth and grunted "Get... OFF OF HER!" She roared at the stallion slowly edging nearer, if he wasn't going to listen, then Mystery would do her best to force him of

(GHOST LIGHT WHYYYYYYY) +++ West glanced up as Mystery moved off, ready to speak but not saying anything... until he heard a stallion war cry. And then Mystery galloped off. West jerked his head up and launched off, bolting towards the scene- and when he saw what happened... his brain seized up at the same time he bellowed a roar at the stallion and struck at the horse with his hooves. "How could you!? An innocent mare!!!" He screeched, anger and grief spilling through him. Nothing even seemed real anymore.

(NONONONONO!!! GHOST LIGHT! HOW COULD YOU!?) - Dixie looked up at West. "There you are!!! I was looking all over for you! Where did you go?" She watched as he bent down to sniff her leg. "Well that's a relief." She looked over at Mystery just in time to see her head snap up, a stallion cry in the distance, and see her run in the direction of the sound. Suddenly West did the same thing. "Oh crap! Who's missing?" She looked around , keeping a mental list of every horse, figuring out quickly that Dawn was gone. "Oh no..!" Dixie knew she would be late but she had to try to help! She jumped up as fast as her leg would let her and looked around, grabbing herbs that West had used on her. She pushed herself into a painfully horrible canter, but she had to help. She made it over to them when the horrible stallion ran into her, making her drop her herbs and put an extra amount of weight on her leg. Without a thought, she turned and kicked the stallion in the chest, making him fall backwards. He started seizing and then he stopped. Stopped breathing. Stopped moving. Stopped looking around. Except for one time... his eyes searched everything until they landed on her. Dixie froze as she watched the horse die. She slowly bent her head down and grabbed as many of the herbs as she could. She didn't put any weight on her leg because she couldn't even feel it. She pushed on until she reached Mystery, West, and... "DAWN!!!" She cried, limping faster and scooting between Mystery and West so she could see her. A tear fell down Dixie's cheek as she lowered her head and placed the herbs on any spot that might need helping. She lifted her head and leaned on Mystery. Not West. She wiped her head on West (lol) but her weight was leaning on Mystery. "I... can't feel my leg..." she looked over at Mystery then glanced at West. "Is that bad..?" Edited at March 24, 2024 09:05 AM by Dandelion Farms
