athena stood there lonley. she didnt really have anyone anymore, she kept herself distant and didnt really like many other horses much

West watched over the herd, not really talking to anyone at the moment. Willow and Trigger had disappeared AGAIN, but he had to resist the urge to drag them back out of the forest and remind himself they were... well.. adults, in a way, now. Maybe not MATURE enough to be considered adults, but they were both 3. At the realization he felt like his heart was slowly getting crushed. Willow had always been his daughter, in his mind, and now she was .. well.. all grown up... and what if she.. what if she left, like Scarlet? West didn't know if he could bear not seeing her cheerful face day after day...

Dixie looked around, noticing everyone had suddenly left. Dixie winced as a pain shot through her injured leg. She pulled herself toward the field, her hooves softly hitting the ground. She collapsed at the spring, licking a few droplets if water. She was becoming weak and fast

West slowly pulled himself from his worrying spiral, glancing down to see Dixie looking even more in pain than before. Worried, he trotted down towards her. "How are you feeling? Sorry for the stupid question, of course you're not feeling too good.." He asked, flicking his tail with concern. "Anything I can do?"

Dixie looked up at him "I don't know. I feel like I can't move. And my leg hurts way worse than before. " she looked down at her leg to see the swollen wound and a yellow liquid oozing out. "Is that bad?"

West let out a slow breath as he heard her words and saw her leg. "It's infected. Lay down, I'll get some herbs that should help." he said quietly, trotting off further down the meadow and grabbing some scraggly looking plants. "This is Chervil.. it removes infection from the inside. It may taste vile, but I promise it'll help." He said, placing it in front of her. He then went to go find more poppyseed and put that in front of her too.

Dixie gratefully nuzzled his leg then forced the disgusting herbs down her throat. She drank water then rested her head on the ground. She could barely lift her head now. She nibbled on some grass by her face, trying to regain her appetite

"The poppyseed will numb the pain and make you sleepy.. don't fight the drowsiness. Just rest. When you awaken, you can eat." West explained quietly, walking off to go get a couple apples from the trees at the side of the herd before going back and dropping them by her head, then going about the task or ripping up grass from the ground and carrying it to her.

Dixie closed her eyes but she didn't feel sleepy yet. She opened her eyes just as apples fell from the sky. "Ahhh" she cried, pulling her head back. "Ouch" she giggled then watched as he started ripping grass from the ground. Dixie blushed and turned away, finally feeling the poppyseeds. Her eyes started to droop. She drifted off into sleep

Mystery looked over at Dixie as she fell -Oh no is she okay?!- She thought getting up, she was about to go check up on Dixie but stopped herself just in time as West went over, She decided it was best if she didn't get involved, West was perfectly capable of keeping Dixie safe, Mystery just got... Protective at times, but she knew Dixie would be okay, she was a fighter, a strong mare, Dixie could almost handle anything, Mystery had that horrible little feeling deep down once again, which made her look away from the couple, Mystery hated it, but knew it would hopefully go away at some point, her gaze catching sight of Athena, standing outside the herd... By herself. Mystery walked out to check up on Athena, she had also grown into a pretty mare "Hey Athena, you okay out here? Where's Trigger? Or cannon? Or Willow?" She asked looking around for them before gazing back at her "If you want, i can hang out with you! Though not sure how you would possibly WANT to hang out with a nanny like me" Mystery chuckled trying to cheer her up "I could use some... Distracting too, so win win?"

If her eyes weren't already bright enough, than they were now "Wait... Really?! You-.. You like me too?! Wowwyyy!" She squeeled excitedly bounding on the spot "Sooooooo...... I guess that leaves one thing for me to ask. Trigger?" Willow tried saying in a posh tone bowing down on her front knees "Will you be my stallion?" She tried to ask in a calm tone, but she was just rushing with joy, she wanted to run laps around the plains right now, she got back up and giggled at her dramatic self
