West nodded. He felt bad she couldn't run.. but the more she kept off the leg the faster it would heal. He kept thinking back Tim that time... the one reason he couldn't run as fast... West was young, only 3. He was playing with some Young mares in the herd, trying to forget about a week ago. His brother, Black Menace, had been kicked out of the herd a week ago... he only got to stay because he was kind, considerate, and non dominant. He heard thundering hooves in the distance and stopped. There Menace came... with at least a dozen string stallions. Menace stopped in front of his father and hissed, "This is what you get..." then he killed him. Menace made his stallions kill everyone but his mother.. then Menace ran up and attacked West. West didn't fight back... he was stunned, and that was his brother. Menace broke his leg... and made him sit there and watch while he killed their mother. He then just left... and West was never the same again. West snapped out of the memory, his eyes glazed over with sadness. He walked over to a shadowy spot, laying down and trying not sob...

Phantom finally reached a spot under a tree flopping down on her side sighing, running was the one thing she enjoyed most and now it was taken away. She glanced around at the herd spotting West who look extremely upset, she wanted to get up to go see if he was okay but knew her leg wasn't going to like that. Phantom decided to sleep to pass time as soon as she fell asleep she had the same dream from a few nights ago

(Finally.. I know, right? XD.. and that's not even really the full story)

West blinked the tears out of his eyes, wishing he could just knock his head against a rock and forget everything. He staggered upright, shaking his head and pretending nothing was wrong. He walked to the water and took a drink, washing the salty tears off his face

Phantom went to shot up in anger from the dream again, but fell right back down as pain shot up her leg. She let out a pained snort cursing out the pain. She looked around to find West to see how he was doing, he looked alright... I think.. he was too far for Phantom to see but for the most part he looked alright

(I went in depth with him lol. Dramatic past...)

West glanced over at Phantom as she let out a snort. He wanted to make sure she was okay... but I felt he got too close he was sure she would notice he was in mental agony. His heart, of course, won over his head and he walked over. "Are you okay?..." he asked quietly, trying to not look directly at her

(lol thats good at least you got his past figured out, i'm just planning out phantoms as we go)

Phantom looked up at West her eyes filled with frustration but she spoke calmly "Yeah I'm okay..." West seemed off he was acting like normal "Are you good you don't seem like your normal self?" The frustration turned into confused and worried eyes

West flinched slightly. He shifted his weight.. opening his mouth and closing it again. "Well... I'll be fine sooner rather than later. It'll pass." He said quietly.. trying to decide whether to tell her or not. She was in a tough place right now and he didn't want to make her more sad... and he definitely didn't want pity....

Phantom looked at him she could tell that this was something a problem that he carried around with him, even if it did pass it'd be back again. She sighed "Don't try to be a tough guy Hercules, this obviously bothers you.. I don't I've seen you this upset before, you can tell me if you want too. I'm a great listener y'know" She smilied softly at him she didn't want to force the answer out of him but she knew it'd probably best to talk out whatever was going on

West looked at her doubtfully. "It is a very, Very, very, very, very, very x 100 sad story" he said quietly, shifting his weight again. "But if you insist on hearing it... i better tell you before you talk my ear off." West sighed, getting ready. (Ima just copy and paste so if it sounds a little weird don't be confused XD) He started slowly. "I was young, only 3.
