Mackie finish eating the soup and cleaned up the kitchen before going to the couch and lays down then turns on the TV and began to watch as she felt her eyes get heavy she slowly falls to sleep as she get hole lot of nightmares even the ones were her mother and father died but one strange dream was the one with the man in the bar the one who saved her and Cindy of course she can't fall I love with him even when she was running from her fear or her past but she still couldn't get the hang of why would they save them

Sitting at the dinner table, Ares thought about the girl at the bar. "Guys I think we need to keep an eye on the new place, there seems to be a rough crowd forming there."

His brothers turned to look at him, stupid grins plastered over their faces. "Looks like Ares finally likes someone," Apollo teased, followed by a series of Oooohhhs from the table.

"Shush man, you know I'm being serious." He snapped, his eyebrows furrowed. Although he knew deep down he did want to see Mackie again, he just could'nt figure out why. She had been so brave, so fearless, and yet he worried something bad would happen to her.

He washed his bowl in the sink, letting the hot water warm his hands.

That night, as he lay in bed, he dreamt of the pack and a war. Wolves fighting wolves, men fighting men, and in the distance a lonely howl. He knew that howl, he felt it knew him too.

He let his dreams take him, and slipped away.
