Mystery's attention was more grabable after she was sure this creature was no longer THERE to hurt the foals/yearlings, She nodded slowly to confirm what she had told West "Poor thing managed to escape with his mother with a few other mares" She spoke quietly so that Willow couldn't hear _____________________ Willow Willow shook in fear when this ghostly apparition showed up, she ran behind Trigger "Wh-What is that thing!?" She asked shakily. Once it/she left Willow calmed down a bit, her ears perked in the direction of West with Phantom, Willow had never seen this pretty made before but since West was talking to her Willow knew she hAD to be nice "Come on! let's go meet her" She said happily trotting over to them "Umm hello" Willow said shyly "I'm Willow, and this is Trigger, and over there is Athena, do you know my dad? Were you in this herd before I was here? what's your name? I like your coat " She bombarded with questions, Willow couldn't help it, she was just like her mother in that sence

Phantom smiled a bit at what West said, she was glad things were normal around here besides the rough patches but of course there was always going to be those rough times. At his last comment she laughed softly "Of course you've gotten into more you've always been a trouble maker between the both of us" She teased with a playful smirk. Her attention then turned to Mystery as she came trotting over, she listened to what she had to say and was admittedly confused on who Flame was and why that seemed so horrible but she figured she'd ask question later. Suddenly there was a loud whinny off in the distant, she didn't recognize the voice neither did she think anyone else did by the immeadiate confusion on their face. Phantom quickly whipped her head around just in time to see a ghostly white mare standing on the hill with what looked to be... wings? and a horn?.... A strong look of confusion plastered onto her face but quickly she stood up straighter as she felt the fear from the foals so she wanted to seem not frightened at all to hopefully put them at ease. Phantom slowly turned her head back to the group when she heard a soft and shy voice beside her, she lowered her head to the filly (I'm guessing a filly) beside her giving her a soft smile to come off as more friendly as the little one seemed shy. Quickly though the fillies voice got higher pitched as she spat out question quickly without missing a beat. Phantom laughed at the fillies excitement before finalyl answering "Well hello to you too, I'm Phantom and I'm not exactly sure who your father is... Yes I was in the herd before you I just was on a trip... and thank you I like your coat too" She answered with a soft tone, a gentle smile still resting on her face. "I'm assuming your Mystery's foal, you act just like your mother" Phantom commented smiling over at Mystery as the filly did remind her of Mystery a lot.

West swished his tail slightly, pinning his ears a little at the mention of Flame. "Poor Cannon." He mumbled, his ears swiveling as he heard Willow start talking to Phantom. West listened, wishing slightly as the filly mentioned her father. "I'm her dad." He stepped in, giving Phantom a look Willow wouldn't see but that meant he would explain later.

Phantom popped her head up in shock as West spoke up but soon read the look he gave her and just smiled. "Ohhh okay. Well then yes I do know your father and if I have to say he's a bit of a hard head ain't he" She teased playfully with Willow Edited at January 12, 2024 03:15 PM by The Ghost Barn

West was worried Phantom wouldn't get it at first, but when she relaxed he knew she understood. He looked rather relieved, chuckling at her words. "Somedays my brain may not run correctly but that doesn't mean I have a hard head." He grinned. "However, in my case, it is rather true." West laughed, his deep resonant voice echoing around the valley.

Phantom chuckled bringing her head back up to look at West "I say otherwise" She hummed playfully in thought letting out another chuckle "Very true" She exaggerated with a huge nod of her head before laughing with him a bit, her laugh of course being more softer than his. "Anyway I am going to go rest now" Phantom said as she turned and simultaneously flicked her tail at West in her usual playful demeanor Edited at January 12, 2024 06:39 PM by The Ghost Barn

Willow's smile grew wider when Phantom said she was in the herd before her (Yeah, Willow is a yearling now, she's a light palomino, her left eye is a beautiful blue but her right eye is brown, she has three socks and a interrupted stripe down her tiny face) "Cool! But how come I've never seen you before?" She asked with a small tilt of her head. Willow didn't exactly understand that they were joking about West's 'Hard head' "Hey don't be mean! His head isn't hard! Well... Maybe when he fights, I swear his head expands to his body size" She spoke trying to remember the last time he fought off a cougar or something. Then that was when the jokes made sense "Oh oops... Sorry, you weren't being mean were you... It was just a joke, I get it now haha" She giggled feeling embarrassed and trotting off into the shallow woods

Mystery smiled back at Phantom before following her filly from a distance to make sure she stayed out of trouble

West chuckled at the small quips from Phantom, glancing at Mystery and Willow before following Phantom away. "Quick explanation about Willow. You heard us talking about the stallion, Flame? Well he is a horrible, cruel stallion. Willow is his daughter, but Mystery didn't want Willow to know... so I'm being her 'dad'. I act like much more of a fatherly figure than stupid Flame." West snorted, but he explained most of it.

Phantom slowed her pace slightly hearing West had started to follow her as soon as he caught up she lengthened her stride to keep up with his. At his explanation she let out a snort, whoever this Flame stallion was he truly must have been a horrible one for even West to say that. She hoped that he never came around to bother Mystery if that was the case. After a small silence of thinking she finally spoke "Well that was truly kind of you to do that and I agree you do act like a more fatherly figure and that's great about you" She commented with a gentle smile as what she had to say was the truth
