Willow looked on as Athena left then smiled at Trigger "Come on, let's go cheer her up!" She said as she cantered after Athena. Once she was close enough she spoke in a cheery voice "Hey Athena! What's wrong?" She asked with a smile

Regal looked around the herd bored, he saw Athena gallop off and Willow went after her, so Regal followed to keep a eye on them so that West could stay with his mares

Rebel, after taking a very long nap, woke up to see Willow, Regal, and Athena galloping away. Curious, he followed them at a distance to see what was going on.

West smiled. "Those trees are about a quarter of a mile away. That's the end point." He answered, lowering his head. "Ready, set, go!" West trumpeted, launching forward with his powerful haunches, and, as always, gaining a quick head start since he could get going super fast. He lunged over the ground taking big strides with an exaggerated look, but slowed his pace a little... not enough to be noticeable by Rebel, though, just enough so the colt could easily and quickly catch up
