Mystery saw Angel stumbling every now and then, when she did Mystery would lean in a little to hold her up. Sometimes her stomach would hurt but she ignored it -Come on where is the herd?- she thought as she looked out for them. Soon they reached the safety of the herd and Mystery sighed a breath of relief. After a while in the herd Mystery started getting pains in her stomach, she tried keeping them under control but it was started to get a bit much so she walked a little out of the herd and laid down, she didn't understand. Was something wrong? She would lay her head on the ground and groan a little, and tried putting pressure on her head so she didn't fell the other pains

West stayed quiet, following Mystery. As Angel looked like she was falling asleep, he nudged her slightly. "Don't fall asleep now, just a little longer." He mumbled, then they got to the herd. He set to work patching up Angel's wound, and soon the blood stopped

angel laid down as they had gotton to the herd. she closed her eyes wanting to sleep and rest. angel mumbled something but it was unclear then she fell asleep

Rebel followed Mystery (He was beginning to like her) to where a wounded mare lay. He recognized her as Angel, and stood a few yards away while West and Mystery tended to her wound. He wasn't completely sure about this herd yet, but they were better than all the others he had been through before. Rebel fell asleep next to Angel, and dreamed about his mom and dad.

angel nuzzled the colt and softly nickered to him. she had fallen asleep and started dreaming. it had been about an hour and angel had woken up.

Mystery would roll a little from side to side trying to get rid of the pain. "What's happening to me..? Oww.." She said quietly as she began to get annoyed at the pain but also scared, though that didn't stop it, it only got worse. Mystery couldn't hold it in anymore, she had been silent for what felt like hours now, so, she stretched out her neck and head and let out a long, loud, agonizingly painful whinnie which didn't help too much but at least she didn't feel like she needed to stay quiet since Flame wasn't here. She tried to itch her stomach but every time she tried bending her head the pain got worse so she instinctively laid on her side and laid her head and neck out straight

She'd huff and puff while trying to take her mind of the pain. After a few seconds of thinking that was the moment she realized... She was having her foal! "Umm G-guys!? I think Aaowww! I think it might.. Be.. Time.." As Mystery got to the end she found herself becoming short of breath. Now the mare was silent, well more like highly concentrating.....

After a looong time Mystery's ears perked up as she herd the first squeel. That squeel was her foal, even though she was exhausted, Mystery still tried forcing her head up to see the new arrival. And there right by her side lay a new born filly, she wriggled and squeeled. The filly was almost a Gold champagne like Mystery but instead turned out palomino, her left eye was a beautiful moonlit blue and her right eye was a dark brown like Flames, she had three white socks instead of two and finished off with a interrupted stripe down her tiny face. Mystery started licking her baby to clean her when she noticed something else.. Behind the filly was a colt, but he wasn't moving.. Mystery felt tears going down her face as she realized she had twins.. But one didn't make it, she looked at her filly to make sure she was okay and she started to notice that the filly had a dint in her forehead. Mystery nuzzled her foal lovingly but felt horrible, how could this happen? Mystery looked at her once more then remembered that stallion that was obsessed with Angel, and how he kicked Angel and Mystery... "Did.. Did he do this..?" She asked herself, tears still rolling down her face as she nuzzled her filly. And the colt, but the colt did not even stir. Mystery knew it would be a long time before she'd fully recover from this, but she was grateful that at least ONE foal somehow survived

Angel heard the little whiny of a foal. She felt happy for mystery but she also felt sad, she wished she had a little foal to protect and love. Then she'd watch it grow.

West bolted upright after almost falling asleep, quite alarmed when he heard a loud cry of pain. He darted over to where Mystery was, then backed up a couple steps, astonished at what he saw. One little filly, almost like her, and then a colt... dead. -Oh no oh no oh no what do I do what do I say how could this happen stupid Flame I hate that stallion oh my gosh I'm freaking out arghhh- West's brain spun into a downward spiral, and he stood, frozen. "She- I'm- I'm so sorry Mystery.. but the filly is just beautiful. She looks like you." West finally blurted something out, feeling like a tire stuck in the mud. Turning and turning as fast as he could, but not getting anywhere.

Mystery looked at West as he stood for a moment then he finally said something. She looked down at the colt and filly and nuzzled each of them. The colt still didn't move but when Mystery nudged the filly she woke up and jumped to her tiny feet, only to fall back down. Mystery couldn't help but smiled lightly at her filly but she looked at the colt and closed her eyes, giving him a moment of silence before licking his tiny head to let his soul know she loves him. The filly somehow managed to get her back legs standing and used her weight to lift her front legs, at last she could stand and wabble walk. She looked at her mother waiting for her to get up then turned around seeing a giant grey stallion, she backed up a little frightened of the huge horse but when she saw he just stood there she grew confident he wasn't mean. She walked up to him and sniffed his leg then started walking around him leaning on him like it was a game.

After Mystery gave her colt one last cuddle she looked at her daughter who was walking and leaning on West before struggling to stand up but did so, she looked at West trying to hide the pain in her eyes "It's ok, it's not your fault" Mystery said softly trying to make him feel better
