Sage had finally gotten into a decent sleep for a while. It wasn't long before he woke to the sound of the horses. Chloe was gone, and he panicked for a moment before he saw her. He calmed down, then let out a sort of worried squeak when he saw her carrying a water bucket. He scampered over to her, obviously worrried. 'You should be resting," he half yelped. "Are you alright?"

Chloe looked at sage concerned. "Why wouldn't I be ok?" She asked. She put down the bucket knowing what he ment. Chloe looked at him differently this time. " of course I'm ok" she assured sage before finishing watering the horses.

SAge sighed slightly and nodded, trying to calm down. "You scared me," he said before wrinkling his nose slightly. She probably didn't really care...and he still wasn't sure if she still wanted to be around him. She was alright, so...why was he still there? "Well..if you're sure you'll be ok..." he sort of trailed off with a shrug and turned to walk away, trying not to show how much he wanted her to stop him from leaving. He didn't have high hopes about it though. No one had wanted him around, so why should she?

chloe looked at sage sad. "wait stay, we can go for a ride." she said as she grabbed spark out of her stall. chloe tacked her up and mounted. sparks strong streak was cross country. chloe waited for sage.

Sage had to admit he was surprised when she said to stay, but wasted no time in scrambling back over to her, using his hair to hide his absolutely delighted grin. He put on Chaos's halter that had rope reins attatched and hopped on, nudging the stallion up next to her horse. "Just don't hurt yourself," he pleaded her

Chloe smiled "no promises" she teased as she trotted off infront. Spark started to canter towards the xc course and tossed her head happily. When they arrived Chloe pulled spark up and spark stomped her foot unhappy. Chloe stroked sparked neck before letting the mare go and do a jump.

Sage groaned slightly at her comment but nudged chaos forward so he was cantering alongside spark. The stallion was eager to run, but sage wanted to stay nearby incase Chloe got hurt or ... something. He supposed he was just on edge after all this.

Chloe was having fun with spark as they hadn't been riding lately. Spark was so excited that the mare bucked after a jump and left Chloe holding on. Chloe was laughing and it was the first time in a long time.

Sage was nervous about her at first but when she started laughing he found himself laughing for the first time in a very long time too. This was fun. He was actually relaxed for once. Happy. He decided he wanted to spend as much time with her as possible, if she'd let him.

After spark had stopped bucking Chloe walked the mare over to sage and chaos. "Wanna do any jumps to?" She asked. Spark jumped around on the spot a bit eager to go.
