Macy followed Mystery to the tree line "I think there's a strong possibility that it was Flame but if he comes I trust that West will protect us. Dixie hasn't looked that bad since... well since never. She's never been that skinny. Remember that one mare that didn't want to bear his foal? Remember how he starved her so she couldn't fight back? I think that's what he tried to do to Dixie. He had always loved Dixie but when she ran away he was even more abusive. I knew I had to get Scarlet out of there as soon as possible" Macy glanced over at Scarlet as she galloped around the field with another horse from the herd

West stood silently, his nostrils flaring as he took in scents. He appeared alert on the outside, and he was, but his mind was racing with thousands of different things. If Flame dared step foot on his territory he would beat the stallion into a pulp, that was already decided. West now just wished everyone would be truthful with him so he could help more. Angel was definitely hiding something. Mystery was definitely hiding something. Macy seemed like she was in on what Mystery was hiding. Did every single mare in his herd not trust him? Was he really that bad of leader?

Dixie looked at West. She couldn't take it and she felt like she was the main cause to all of the herds problems, whatever they might be.

Nakoma-

The filly looked around after the nice mare had told her that he was nobody she needed to worry about. But after dealing with Trouble, she worried if he was like Trouble. Nice until something stops his way from happening.

Trouble was super nice, before he had his first colt. That colt had turned his world upside down. Like a typical stallion, he had tried to kill that colt, but it turned out that that colt wasn't his, it belonged to a stallion named Lion.

Most of the horses in Trouble's herd used to belong to a medium-sized herd, where the lead stallion was quite old but nice, and he would let his 2-year-old mares choose which stallion they would live with. One of the mares had selected the nicest stallion Lion, that mare was heavily pregnant when he had kicked her out, and she had given the foal to one of her close friends.

Nakoma remembered people telling the story on how her twin brother had made the whole herd flip...

Angel looked at west. He seemed sad. She had decided she would tell him. She walked up to him and dropped her head. "Hey west" she said. "I'm sorry I've been kind of distant. It's just, I um, lost the foal" she spoke softly

Mystery nodded as Macy spoke "Yeah... West seems strong enough to take him on if needed" She said as she looked at him for a moment, then looked at Macy "I know this may sound crazy but what if West wasn't who we thought he was.. I mean he doesn't seem like the rest but we don't know for sure" Mystery said, she honestly didn't believe that West could ever be mean but then again, she couldn't trust him just yet

West gazed off into the distance before ANgel came up. His face filled with horror as she spoke, which he quiclly cleared and let it be replaced by sorrow. "Oh Angel, that's horrible.. I don't know what to say. I'm so sorry I didn't get out there sooner, I could have helped... I'm so, so sorry." His voice cracked slightly as he looked down. West felt like he was the cause of all this heartbreak and pain. Why couldn't he just be a good stallion and protect everyone. Why was everything so hard for him? It wasn't fair to the mares if he just, whoops, FORGOT to be there. Or if he was TOO SLOW. That was all HIS fault and the mares deserved a much better stallion.

(Y'all, West is over here BEATING himself up and you guys are suspicious that he might be mean to your foals XD. I feel kinda bad for him, even though I am playing his character lol)

Angel looked at him. "It's not your fault. It would've ended up happening. Fates fate" she said nuzzling slightly. "Plus I still have nakoma to play with" angel felt bad that west was blaming himself. He seemed to be having a hard time

As her and Macy were headed back o the herd, Mystery could hear Angel and West talking -Oh no... She did loose her foal- She thought to herself, but she didn't want to be nosy so she blocked out the conversation. She got to her spot in the herd and grazed for a while before feeling horrible, she could almost smell West's emotions and felt bad, as if she had done something to upset him. "Hey Macy? I think I should go offer my services to West... I mean I hate keeping secrets so this is the least I can do to make some of it up to him.." She said quietly before turning and waiting for Angel and West to finish. Once Angel went to sit under a tree Mystery slowly walked over to West, sucking in her stomach so she didn't look so fat "Hey West! You know how I found that free land for you and the herd a little while back? Well I liked making myself useful, y'know pulling my weight in the herd? I was wondering if you had any jobs for me.. I'd like to be more useful" Mystery explained in a cheery way nudging his wither to encourage a happier mood

(yeah sorry. They don't think he's mean, as I said Mystery didn't believe her silly thought, deep down everyone knows West has a kind heart and soul <3)
