West couldn't fight right now, he knew. He had other mares to go make sure were okay. When Angel looked at him, he knew he just had to leave. -I will come back I will come back I will come back- he thought, his teeth clicking together once as a warning to Rusty before walking over to Mystery. "Hey, get up. We got to go." He said quietly, then turned to the filly with a kind expression. "We have to go. I will come back for Angel." West said the first part aloud, but he murmured the second just quietly enough that only Nakoma could hear and not Rusty

Angel watched them leave and then walked to the mossy patch that she lay on. She laid down. It was a couple weeks later when angel had her foal. She looked at her foal. A little colt and he was dead. Angel lay in the same spot for another week. rusty watched as his foal came. He dropped his head as he saw it dead. He was sad. He felt bad. Rusty wandered into the woods. He didn't show up until after angel had escaped.

Dixie was stuck in Flames herd for another week. She was losing hope... -had no one noticed that I was gone..? I should've known...- Dixie lowered her head and looked around the dark field. It was night time and the moon was high. Firefly and the other mates were asleep. Flame was half asleep, his eyes slowly going over the field. He was standing right next to her so she knew she couldn't leave. But she could try... she had too. Dixie looked around, trying to find the best escape

West took care of the injured mares the best he could, then he finally couldn't take it any longer. He wheeled around and cantered off the way he had heard the faint voice, the memory still fresh in his mind. West lengthened into a gallop and went until he reached the outskirts of a field. He peered into the dark expanse and saw a small herd... and the familiar pelt of Dixie in it. There was a stallion right next to her, and West had never felt this exactly... but anger and jealousy flared up inside of him. He trampled down the second emotion quickly, filling it with anger that this stupid stallion had took Dixie. West waited a moment then walked into the field, his dapple grey pelt shining in the faint moonlight. "Dixie, I am so sorry I didn't come earlier." West said quietly, his head raised high

Angel was galloping in a random direction. As she ran she ran into a human camp. She quickly turned and ran. She saw an opening and ended up running into the middle of wests herd. She was covered in cuts as she ran through the last bit of forest. She was the other horses and stopped

Flame tried to nuzzle Dixie, but she threw a kick right at his stomach. "I'm going to the river for a drink" Dixie said as she started towards the small pond "I'll come with you then" Flame answered. "No. Please. Just some alone time" she had caught a glimpse of the familiar grey coat and she knew she had to get away from Flame. She trotted toward the pond then stood there, watching Flame. When he looked away, she cantered to West then passed him, stopping in the woods. "It's ok West. Don't apologize. It's not your fault..." Dixie lowered her head and watched Flame from behind the brush. He was looking for her. "We need to go" she whispered as she backed up

West backed into the trees, his fur blending perfectly with the shadows the monlight cast. He nodded and started trotting off back towards the herd, picking paces with soft ground, his hoofbeats barely making any noise.

Dixie followed quietly. She could hear the frantic whinnies of her old herd leader in the distance. She wanted to tell West what Flame was trying to do, but she was kind of hoping that he had seen her kick the stallion in the stomach. She ducked her head and pushed on. Her legs were killing her, especially her injured one. She really needed a bath in the water. White pattern on her hindquarters was completely brown, and her face was also brown, her coat was scratched and small speckles of blood was showing over her deeper cuts. She had a bite mark in her back from Flame.

Angel looked around panicked she didn't know if this was a strange herd or even Rusty's herd. She looked around for any thing that could prove how far the was from wests her. She galloped faster than she had ever before until she saw mystery through the trees. Wests herd. She galloped out of the trees lots of new wounds. She stopped panting. She dropped her head exhausted

Nakoma- Nakoma followed West, knowing that he could very well turn Trouble on her. And that would be what was the only thing stopping her from not saying a word to him.
