Lily rolled one last time before standing up and shaking herself. Lily, it's time to move on. Time to forgive yourself she thought, sneezing because of the dust. I'm going to match up to West and say sorry. Maybe he'll say, 'no, it was my fault' and we'll be friends again! she thought excitedly, trotting to where she had last seen West. But he wasn't there. "West! West?!" Lily cried, hoping for the grey stallion to come barreling back to her, ready to save her from what might've happened.

West moved through the forest slowly, the shadows feeling nice and cool and the sun warming some spots on his back nicely. That's when he heard Lily's voice... again. -If she got herself into more trouble already...- West's thought trailed off as he turned and trotted back out of the woods. He lengthened into an easy canter, relaxing when he saw Lily was ... okay. Well, she looked okay. "You good?" West asked as he pulled up to a stop, the tiniest trail of worry showing in his face

Lily's face relaxed, and she smiled the tiniest bit. "I'm fine. I wanted to tell you that I'm sorry for what I said before. It was off topic and made us both down in the dumps. Will you forgive me?" Lily's smile disappeared and was replaced with a questioning expression with worry mixed in.

West flicked his ears and listened to what Lily said, looking a little sorrowful. "No, it's not your fault. I know how hard it is to deal with that sometimes, and I am sorry I really suck at words." West replied with a slight sigh, because it was true. He wasn't the best at cheering horses up. He just couldn't seem to find the right thing to say, and whatever he said would just make them feel worse. "I can't forgive you since there's nothing to forgive." He finished quietly with a slight smile, though it didn't hold much joy

West sucked at words, but you sure don't))

Lily almost jumped off the ground for joy. "Really? I mean, yes, okay. And..." Lily got serious. "It's time I tell you my story. But, you go first. You're the one who's untrustworthy." Lily raised an eyebrow, going back to smiling.

West had to look a tiny bit concerned as Lily almost started buzzing with happiness, but he cleared the look from her face rather quickly. At her last comment he let out a little sigh. "For one, you sure aren't going to like my story. For two, I have saved you from about four deadly things now so you shouldn't call me untrustworthy." He commented, cracking a small smile.

Lily raised her eyebrow even more, grinning. "Oh, really? Well, I could have saved myself, I was just giving you a chance to look heroic." Lily flicked her tail, waiting for West's answer.

West's eyebrows furrowed slightly at this. "You are getting way off topic." He said gruffly, though his eyes twinkled with an amused look. "Though you do have to admit I was awesome at *looking heroic*" West commented with a smile, though he hadn't to tug his own brain back to what they were supposed to be having a conversation about.
