Aurora came trotting out of the cave he headed straight for the river putting a hoof in it, it was moving fast. He'd back up before running and jumping over it landed on the other side, he pranced around stretching his legs slipping here and there from the wet ground

West was glad he could help... and it really warmed his heart when Phantom said he was good at comforting horses. -If only she knew me when I was younger- West thought with a grimace. He had been trying very hard ever since then to be very kind, and caring... but sometimes it was hard. He watched Phantom shoot out of the cave like a missile from a rocket launcher, chuckling. His heart lifted as he knew summer was coming and he broke into a canter, then a gallop... although it was slow. He tossed his head, acting like a colt for once in his life

Phantom looked over seeing West galloping she went over shooting past him kicking out a bit but not to kick him, she did it to kick up mud at the ground which splattered on his coat "Your coat was missing something on it" She laughed a bit she always used to do that to horses when she was little, it was her favorite thing to do even if the horse hated her after

West snorted, flinching as mud splattered his coat. "So ordinary!" He teased. He then did a roll on the ground till he was covered with mud, got back up, and called, "Hey Phantom! This is how you put mud on a horse." When she turned to look back (yes, you have to make her slow down and turn to look back XD) He was sailing over her. He shook himself in mid air, dropping all the mud on his coat onto hers... and landed with a thump in some clean grass. He half stumbled, tripped, then right himself and snorted. "Now, that's much better." He snickered, his coat mostly clean again

Phantom turned her head slowing down to see what West had done but didn't see anything besides mud landing all over her. She tried stopping but skidded past West then tumbled getting more mud on her. Phantom popped up throwing her head laughing, she came back up to West looking at him "Your defidently missing a spot" She shook getting some of the mud off and having some land back on West "That's better" She grinned while giggling like a foal

West laughed. "I never knew you were a bay." He teased, walking over to the stream to wash off the rest of his coat. He obviously needed a cleaning... that's the thing West hated about caves. Now his coat shone... and now he was cold again. West was glad, because the sun was coming out. "Better for who?" He inquired, a laugh building in his chest again. He glanced around at the other mares, Aurora, and Moon, making sure they were okay.

Phantom laughed jokingly saying "That's just my summer coat coming in" She walked over rinsing the mud off too, she shivered stepping out of the river "Better for you cause it matched your coat at the time" She'd grin shaking her head letting her long mane fling water everywhere, she would shiver again mumbling "Man is that water cold..." She'd prance around trying to warm up as the sun starting coming out

Aurora pranced around the river, not sure of what to do he was bored but he didn't look that way. Aurora deciding to hang out near Moon knowing that she would think of something to do eventually since she couldn't stand being bored

West shook his coat. He was shivering, just to warm up. "Uh huh" he looked at her, chuckling. "And yes... the water is still rather cold. I wish it would warm up someday... and I can't wait to get back out on the plains. I can see green grass growing already, I don't think it will be long." West answered. The water was cold, but the air was still getting warmer. Green grass was growing and summer was on it's way. He glanced over at the colt.. who was prancing around as always. West watched as he went to Moon. -I wonder how she doesn't talk his ear off- West thought with an amused snort

Phantom looked out at the plains "The grass really is greener on the otherside, I can't wait to get out there either. It's such a perfect place to run and the wind just feels so much better out there" Her eyes light up when she mentioned running. Oh how she couldn't wait to get out there, she'd be running around practically everyday
