Dixie nuzzled the mountain lion before she forced herself to stand. She gave a huff as she held her hoof above the ground. She looked around and dropped her head -he didn't have to leave like that- she thought as she nipped at the grass

Tiger smiled, "I can when I want to be" he said, nudging angel

West tossed his head and pressed all those thoughts to the back of his mind like he had been doing so many years, deciding he was being rather unfair for just leaving Dixie because he was struggling. He turned and trotted back, his head lowered slightly, stopping near the mare. "I'm sorry I just left, what you said surprised me slightly." He mumbled quietly

She lifted her head when he came back "it's ok" -I guess...- she continued to nip at the grass, her eyes downcast

West watched Dixie for a moment more and felt like his heart was being shattered. -You're so fragile- He thought wearily, then his brain started scolding itself. -You shouldn't have left. You at least owe her an explanation- He thought again, watching Dixie with a slightly sad gaze. "If there's anything I can do to help or explain, please tell me." West murmured

She raised her head slightly. "Why do you seem so sensitive when someone mentions that mare?" She motioned towards her since she didn't remember her name

West flicked his tail slightly with a light sigh. "Welll... because we definetely have a long history together. It's rather complicated, but she was my friend, and then she left." He answered, not really going into much depth unless Dixie asked him to

Dixie gave him a sympathetic look "oh... im sorry" she looked away, feeling a little uncomfortable and embarrassed

"It's fine, I just wanted to explain so you weren't left hanging. I really am sorry to get so defensive, but she just showed up yesterday again after I haven't seen her for years. I really hope this doesn't affect our relationship." West said quietly, watching Dixie carefully. He hated to ruin other friendships just because he was sore about a different one, so he was mostly comforting himself at this point that Dixie still wanted to be his friend.

She limped over and playfully bumped him. "First stallion to ever care. How could one thing affect our friendship?" She stepped away. "I was just about to say let's make it up in a race but I was painfully reminded that I can't" she held up her bum leg
