Lion let a small smile come to his face, pawing the ground once and getting ready. "Ready as I'll ever be." He answered before she started her talking, then at the go he powered himself forward. Instead of being light and fast like Harper, he was much more like West... where he used his muscles to power himself over the ground. The difference between the two stallions... West had a formerly broken leg, and Lion didn't. He threw his head down and bolted forward faster, faster then he had probably ever run before... except for that one time. The one time he knew Rose was in trouble and ran so fast to get there he felt like his legs were burning off. Memories flooded his mind again, just forcing him forward faster as anger flared up and pushed the memories out. He would not let that mare ruin him again. He knew it was his fault, and only a strong stallion could get over that... so Lion would. |
